Crazy River Cafe & Deli

This place was great. We stopped in for some lunch between Woodstock and Ithaca. I got the Chicagoland sandwich, and it was huge. Great flavor. Staff was friendly, and we really enjoyed our decision to stop here. Hope to make it back someday.

Service was awesome. Food was great. Coffee was good too. If you're in the area definitely this is the place to go to for breakfast

Came on a holiday when it was the only cafe open in the area. Very glad I did, the breakfast sandwich was stellar. I clumsily missed the "Cash only" sign, but the staff was kind enough to let me run out to get cash and come back to pay.

The new place is Trattoria at crazy river. Daryl just recently purchased . We had stopped in for a quick dinner and WOW!! He made us some of the best chicken parm dinners we have had in a long time !! The Angry shrimp and meatballs for apps were awesome. He is super nice, and his mom is as well !! If you're in the area, this is a must go. He is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Best of luck Daryl 👍

Busy, local cafe to grab a bite. The sandwiches were very filling. The turkey club was stacked with meat and the liverwurst was tasty. Prices are reasonable - definitely a lot of food for the cost. Service was friendly - place was busy but they still took the time to make you feel "at home".

I would like to add my response or my “two cents” about what I consider to be the completely unjustified one star review left for this establishment in July 2022. I had a front row seat to this incident while I was eating breakfast there. The customer in question was clearly on the phone for a good chunk of the time she was in the restaurant, and that makes it incredibly difficult for a service provider to have an effective conversation and ensure customer needs/requests are met. When the support staff were trying to talk to you to resolve your concerns, your behavior was inappropriate at best with a raised voice, and can you blame them for nervous smiling or laughter? They were likely surprised or uncertain with how to deal with a customer such as you. I am a nurse too, badly behaved customer, AND I work night shifts and overtime regularly. I know what it’s like to be bone tired. It’s NEVER an excuse to talk to them the way you did. What concerns me most about your review is not how you treated the staff at Crazy River, but more so that if you behaved like that in public, I can only imagine what you do at work.

Amazing view! We eat here regularly when we're visiting the area and it recently changed hands. The food is so delicious! The pasta is homemade, and according to my picky 10yr old - amazing! I have to agree! The spicy shrimp skewers were delish! The fettuccine in a creamy cremini sauce is a must have! Even the burger and fries were awesome! Definitely going back for more!

Great place! The owners were kind and went way out of their way to assist my Grandmother and I in and out of the building with her walker. They even helped me get her into the car. Really went above and beyond and helped me provide her with a nutritious meal and some sunshine. Thank you!!!

After a long weekend, this place is great to stop by to grab a call and a nice egg sandwich. Or you can sit down and have a great meal. The staff is nice And the women are attractive in more than one way! Love this place.

Great little locally owned spot to stop and grab lunch. We were on the motorcycles and it was beautiful. They have outside seating which we were glad to see. Everything was tasty and a great price.

Very friendly,. Food was as good as any other place in the state. Hungry Man special is great for a hungry skier or Hunter.
