The best place in Charlotte to find items that are difficult to find in regular grocery stores, if you're from Africa. They have a wide variety of food items, health and beauty products and other miscellaneous items like games. The store is neat and very well organized. The manager and employees are very friendly and always willing to help. Their eagerness to help can sometimes feel overwhelming and may seem intrusive, if you're not used to it. But rest assured, they really want you to have a wonderful shopping experience. I enjoy shopping here.

I don't currently live in Charlotte, so I can only come by when visiting relatives. The items I've bought from this store have all been of high quality. The people who work there are knowledgeable, respectable, and have beautiful smooth skin. It's a good store to support, not only because their products are superior; but if you're a black person from the United States, they're a great example of what we should've done: the Booker T. Washington model of running our own businesses. I admire them and will support them whenever I can. Their intelligence and discipline prove that self-determination and entrepreneurship foster a people's growth and improvement.

I visited the Charlotte Market, they are a great place to get all your beautiful African spices, foods, specialty items and they have great prices. Everyone there was wonderful, friendly and nice. Today I purchased a 5 pound bucket of raw, great quality Shea Butter. Please visit and support them. I do recommend this store.

Open 7 days of the week consistently. Has every cooking item/spice/ingredients you can think of. Great for young professionals. Prices can be a bit on the upside so I would look for a bigger shop farther out if you're trying to feed a family.

This little gem of a market is packed with all your international cooking needs. My husband and I walked in and were greeted right away by the cashier and what looked like the owner. The owner showed us to everythingwe needed to make a dish we fell in love with on our wedding day. Its an African dish called Egusi Will definitely become a regular customer. Thank you guys
