Rouses Market

Came in to get coffee, eggs, and butter. I love how many options they have, way more than Walmart or Target. And I was not in a great mood but my check out girl Brileigh was so kind, cheery, and helpful it really made my whole day <3 Thank you!

Awesome supermarket. Big clean and Uber modern. Great wine department and even have a few of my favorite USDA Organic Wines. I just love the Stellar Organics wines. This is my go-to store when passing thru Baton Rouge.

This is an overall great place to get groceries from. I especially love their Tuesdays Sushi deals.

My favorite store in the area I now live. Small enough to be less hassle than the big stores all around, large enough not to be a shoebox. Right on the way home from work. (so are albertsons and reeves, to be fair.) Better selection and prices than reeves. Literally never an item I can't find. And I had a much larger Rouses by my old place for years. Hated it. This one is my go to.

I enjoyed the selection of wine and spirits. The store is clean and everything is presented neatly. The cashiers are friendly. On the rare occasion that I did have a problem with one of the wines they made things right and I really appreciate that. What a great grocery store in the neighborhood!

Excellent quality in all the fresh food they carry

This location is impressive! It can easily compete with Whole Foods in terms of offerings. The store layout is logical, well lit, and clean, with uncluttered aisles. The signs throughout are well designed and easy to read. There's a delicatessen, elaborate spirits section, organic foods, household goods, and the produce is practically perfect. The prices are moderate to pricey, depending on the item, but there are enough items in every category to balance things. There are also in-store as well as advertised sales that can be helpful regarding prices. The staff seemed to be personable and professional. I've added this location to my list of top local grocery stores, as a result of my experience and treatment!

Today I I started with the deli today and the gentleman named John was pushing out order quicker than I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you and hats off to you sir. I proceeded to the fresh meet counter and they were out of stuffed bell pepper. The butcher stopped what he was doing and offered to make them for me as I waited. Less that five minutes I was walking away with them and he rushed off to help another customer. I proceeded to the check out and they were all closed. The manager and his assistant were checking people out at the customer service desk. They were moving through the people very quickly. The moral of this is money well spent where the customer service is given. Thank you all. 10/24/21

So thankful for all the store associates who were willing and able to come to work with all the bad, nasty weather the hurricane brought to the area. If it wasn't for this store opening this morning I would not have had any food until I was packed, on the road, and headed back to Alabama. We did not prepare for the storm as we were supposed to be gone on Saturday. I learned a lesson and I will definitely be prepared if I am ever in this type of situation again. The store of course was extremely busy however I thought they still had a good variety of items on the shelves minus bread and chips. The deli was cooking and put out freshly made sausage and biscuits. Had to wait a few minutes to checkout due to the amount of customers shopping but that was to be expected and everyone done a great job taking care of their customers in a timely manner.

First time in on 9-15-15 and it was awesome! The adult beverage department manager, Dylan, was very helpful. He asked what I liked, was very knowledgeable, made some recommendations, and wound up getting me a pack of beer I had been wanting to try from out of the back of the store. Great selection of beers. Rivals that of the other markets in town that I usually get beer from plus the BYO 6 pack is only $9.99 and with a great selection of individuals as well.

This Rouses is awesome. The beer selection and King Cakes are phenomenal, and they often have great sales on everything else. The cashiers are pretty good at opening up more cash registers during peak shopping times. The cashiers are pretty friendly, too.

Rouses was so clean and helpful when I stopped to shop last week. I had some special requests and the gentlemen behind the counter helped me find exactly what I needed. The store was stocked, clean and everyone was friendly! The food was fresh and the salad I got was delicious!!! I will be back sooner then later;)

Good produce specials when they have promotions going on. Store is always clean, staff always polite. Good muffalettas in the refrigerated area near the deli.

My experience start to finish was amazing. When I walked in I was greeted by an elder white male who asked if would like a small or large basket... he sanitized the buggey and told me to enjoy my shopping. I am making a seafood gumbo and headed to the seafood section where a white young man and an elder white woman helped me make my seafood selection. I asked them where the crawfish tails were and the woman told me aisle 9 to the left and to have a nice day. When I checked out a young black woman was friendly and timely with scanning and bagging my items, after she told me to have a nice day and thank you... according to the ticket her name was Gabrielle. As I left the store an elder black man helped me pack my things in my trunk and took my basket telling me to have a nice day.
By far best shopping experience!

I love this grocery store! Friendly employees with excellent customer service. Good place to look for hard to find items and they have organic items throughout the store. They serve hot lunches and dinners but beware they charge by weight and it's easy to rack up a pricey meal but it sure is good!

People say that rouses is very expensive. However, they have great sales, and very high quality meat and produce. I shop there frequently and I don't break the bank. Also they have made some nice changes to their bakery department and are offering more options for beautifully decorated sweets.

Everything I went for was stocked and on the shelves workers were nice and Friendly .

This location of Rouses is by far the absolute BEST! There is an employee by the name of "Mr. Joey" who treats every customer as though they are appreciated, loved, and valued. He provides each customer with exceptional, outstanding, and superior customer service. Each time I shop at Drusilla Rouses, I intentionally check-out in his line-- just to feel his positive energy. His genuine (and authentic) kindness makes shopping at Rouses a sheer delight.
