If I could leave ten stars I would! Fast and friendly service. Our server was so nice and made great recommendations.

The chicken was delicious and the sides were great too. Everything was an excellent value. Variety of sauces, cornbread and spreads was phenomenal. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Savannah!

Geneva's has recently renovated & expanded & it looks absolutely beautiful & more spacious 💜
The food is fresh & delicious. We enjoyed the Crab cakes, Chicken wings & fried 🍤 w/ delicious sides of Candied Yams, Mac & Cheese & She 🦀 stew. & The Pecan Cornbread was 😋

Our server Jaylen was AWESOME!!! He made us feel welcomed and like we had known each other forever. EXCELLENT service and atmosphere at this restaurant.

The food was also delicious!!! HIGHHHHHHLY recommend the blueberry cornbread and blueberry butter. SO good!!! I had a 4-side veggie plate with green beans, mixed greens, squash casserole and cabbage. My mom got the seafood gumbo, red rice and squash casserole and we also split a banana pudding.

The portions were deceivingly large. We were so full by the time we left! Can't wait to come back again after the re-model!!! So excited

This was my first time here and I am thoroughly pleased. The staff were very inviting and pleasant. The food is delicious 😋 I ordered 12 fried chicken wings, Mac n cheese, candy yams, potato logs, fried fantail shrimp and 2 fried turkey wings. I wanted to try a variety of things for my husband and I.
The food is delicious. Everything was flavored well and cooked to perfection.

How anyone could rate Geneva and Kenny's food and service anything less than 5 stars is astounding. Everything is fresh, made to order each day, and their commitment to doing things the right way (and teaching those values to the community along the way) is everything you could ever want in a restaurant. Best fried chicken in the country 🙌 and it's not close.

Mrs Geneva, I'm serious, please expand a second location to Detroit. I'm begging you, we need real fried chicken up here!

There are not enough words to explain how wonderful this dining experience was… from the free parking to the friendly greeting at the door to the clean environment and amazing staff. Crystal went above and beyond to make sure we had not only an enjoyable but also memorable experience. And now for the FOOD!!! Some of the best Fried Chicken I’ve ever had and the Cabbage was so fresh! The Macaroni & Cheese was light and airy and full of flavor! The Blueberry Cornbread with blueberry butter was a nice spin on a tradition fave. Highly recommend this be a stop whenever you are in the Savannah area … even driving through! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife and I were visiting Savannah for the first time and my wife randomly chose this place for a quick bite to eat. I can honestly say that this was SOME OF THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN WE'VE EVER EATEN! We were so impressed, we came back the next day (Saturday) for the fresh fried flounder, shrimp and crab cakes. Again, Phenomenal! Our server, Crystal was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had a great dining experience and on top of everything else, she provided us with a lot of recommendations for sightseeing, shopping and jazz clubs. When we visit Savannah again, this place will most definitely be at the top of our list! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Visiting from Naples, Florida; found this restaurant through google. How I wish I could relocate this family business to Naples. I love chicken; this was awesome! Had Mac n cheese and candied yams; delicious! What a wonderful family business. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to stop for a meal! We went at 3:00 in the afternoon so we missed the lunch crowd but beat the dinner throng.

Oh my goodness! Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, sweet potatoes, and corn bread DO NOT get better than this! On vacation and we all just wanted some good ol’ southern food. We saw the reviews and were all in. This restaurant did not disappoint and our hostess Crystal and her team were amazing. Clearly, this establishment is well known by the community, because people just kept coming in. If you are in the area, stop in and enjoy!!

Claiming “best fried chicken” in a southern city is a bold statement but I’m confident this can’t be beat. Perfect skin texture and taste. Juicy dark meat, but you can get white if you’re scared. Most of all the damn CORNBREAD. It’s a masterpiece. I got Blueberry with a cream cheese spread for my first visit but now I need to try literally every flavor combination possible. As for sides, I swear they cloned KFC’s mashed potatoes and gravy recipe but better. IYKYK. Mac and cheese is good but that gold medal was not won here.

5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ customer service and fried chicken! We had two fry bird meals mixed with collards and potato logs. Original loaf with blueberry and jalapeno spread. Everything was great! Collards may be the best I've ever had. Chicken is one of a kind. Light crispy batter and very juicy well seasoned meat. Cornbread is better than your momma's home cooking hands down. As a local I am disappointed that I have never been but glad I finally made it.

Quality shows. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in awhile looked good tasted even better. Perfect crisp and seasoning on the skin and flavor into the chicken not lost after the just the skin like most. They know what they’re doing, Family is super nice and accommodating for what it’s worth just a small conversation with the mother made me feel like I was home and that’s a nice feeling. No idea if she’s the owner or not but I assume. Anyway they have different selection of cornbreads which is different they were good as well and so was the dessert. If ever nearby stop by they’re definitely worth it.

The food is impeccable and the fantastic service made it taste that much better. It felt like waiting on a fresh plate from your grandmother's kitchen. We will definitely return on our next trip to Savannah.

So, for the first time ever I had to go home and really ponder on a restaurant. I understand and empathize with some things that most people do not when it comes to restaurants because it's my passion as well.

Anyways, also for the first time ever I knew what I wanted to order before I walked in (I've been contemplating on coming here for a month now). Unfortunately the server tripped as soon as the gun sounded to start the race and I knew it would be a uphill battle. We had a 10-15 minute wait once we were seated, she forgot the drink order and had to come back and ask then still got it wrong (I didn't complain) tables were sat after us and because she was behind the guy at the front counter came to help her. Unfortunately he took the orders of two tables that came in after us and then didn't even come to our table instead he went back to the front to help the other customers (I didn't complain too much but I did go up there and mention it to him politely).

There were problems with the payment machine as well and that held time for hostage. Honestly I wasn't upset I just saw simple things that could've been done to make this operation move more smoothly so I was wishing that I had my apron. I kept telling my friend (and reassuring myself) that the food would be worth it in the end.

I ordered the two piece, dark meat $8.99 that comes with a mini loaf of your choice and a small side. I also added on a side of Yama $4.75 and a side of greens $4.99 (the price of the sides were a little shocking). I got the sweet tea as well and it was easy like Sunday morning :-) In all honesty the chicken was some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant, it was juicy while it was hot, when it cooled down and after I microwaved it. You can honestly taste the love in this chicken all the way to the seasoned bone! Greens are always my favorite side but I always get Mac and yams as well because I believe that all three combined make the perfect bite. This is the first time that the yams were a favorite of mine, they were perfect. The greens weren't bad especially after mixing it with the cornbread/spice and the Mac fell short for me but once I ate them all together I was in food Heaven none the less.

There's a reason why it's called Geneva's Famous Chicken and Cornbread. The chicken will have you coming back for sure! I'm sorry for the long review but I've thought about Geneva's Chicken everyday since I had it, all of the problems before the food came vanished and I will be back this week to get it again (and to try the pound cake because I was too full and forgot).

Whew weeee… now that is so good ol southern cooking. Geneva’s was amazing experience from the moment you walk in until you roll out stuffed with some amazing soul food. Crystal is the ABSOLUTE sweetest! Everything came out so hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Nothing washes it down better than their GA Sweet Tea! My boyfriend and I had the Turkey wing and fried pork chop special and took their famous fried chicken to go. Everything was 10/10 can’t even lie!!!! You have to visit this spot when you are in town or driving through! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!! Thank you Geneva’s!!!!!

We live in Savannah and go here pretty often. This time we got 8 pc tenders, a chicken sandwich, and 2 sides all for $26!!!!!! In this economy I want to eat here every day. Even the grocery store is more expensive than this! The respect I have for this establishment for not hiking up their pricing just because they sell a good product is everything to us and why we eat here multiple times a week!!!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Not only does Geneva’s have high quality food, ingredients, amazing friendly service but hands down is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. I know every review says that but it’s because it’s TRUE. For the price and authenticity down south this is hard to find!! Perfectly crisp mouth watering chicken, yummy seasoning and delicious flavor of the fried skin everything is so well done. We especially love the broccoli slaw and Mac and cheese. Mini loafs are such a delight, just scrumptious. You get a bang for your buck here AND an amazing meal!!!!

Geneva if you’re reading this WE LOVE YOU!!! You could compete on the food network and win. Or a fried chicken festival??? We will get it in the works.

This was so so delicious 😋 we walked in and were greeted with a smile. The young lady asked us to give her just a moment. We were excited 😊 so the wait didn't hurt. After ordering our food, it took half an hour to be ready, and that was alright with me. The food was fresh and ready to go! I can't wait to go back! That juicy fried chicken, creamy and cheesy Mac-n-Cheese and to top it off I asked for Pecan Cornbread 😋 when I say OMG 😲 GOOD!!!!!!

The hostess was nice and welcoming and the waiter was awesome. Friendly atmosphere and the food was the best southern cooking I'd had in Georgia. Cornbread and collards are a must have.

Randomly stumbled upon this place while in Savannah looking for soul food. The wait was long, but WORTH the wait. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious, my family couldn’t stop talking about it every bite they took. I will definitely be back!
