Galactic Toys & Games - Walker

Local game store in a great location, plenty spacing for parking with food options all around. Great for hobby collectors of card games like Pokemon, MTG etc, as well as model builders like Gundam , Warhammer 40k and of course dungeon and dragons. Lots of statues and model collection things as well with Funko pops etc. Just stop on by and see for yourself because I cannot fit everything in this post. The staff is great, ask them for help don't be shy.

I haven’t been to the store often and I never write reviews, but my kids and I had an awesome experience at the Alpine store. The staff on the evening we went was amazing. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all our questions very patiently (even though they were closing soon). I was very impressed w/ the two individuals that evening (I wish that I knew their names so I could mention them).

Austin is super knowledgeable and efficient at helping people out. I came at a really busy time, and Austin was the only worker in the store, and he was attentive to everyone and got everyone assistance and offered help to anyone who looked a little lost (me lol). Super great selection and very clean and well organized store as well, I will definitely be back!

Good selection of board games, cards, and dice. They have lots of cool collectables too. Staff is super nice :)

Stopped in a few days ago with my wife, as first time customers. We were greeted at the door by John and Austin, who offered their help in finding what we were looking for. They showed us around the store and made great recommendations on product sales. This shop has great inventory and prices. We will be back soon.

The staff always treat us with respect and kindness. My son is 6 and every time we go in, Austin is always so kind and patient with him. I highly recommend this store! Great selection, great prices and great atmosphere!

This is by far the best card shop in the Grand Rapids area. I have never felt more welcomed and appreciated as a customer! Ethan, John, and Austin are all amazing employees who put effort into creating relationships with their customers. I consistently recommend this shop to my friends and go out of my way to come to galactic on alpine because of the experience and friendships I have created there.

I come here for all my nerd needs now. It makes it easy because it is right next to a GameStop. It is always fun to stop in and buy some cards. They also offer so many events to attend to play MTG, Pokemon, and a bunch of other events.

Austin is the best (weird) snack connoisseur. If you want to try Asian snacks, he’ll steer you in the right direction. Also, they have cool stuff!

An amazing place for any collector or just someone looking for a fun experience in a welcoming atmosphere. Austin always helps me and is beyond knowledgeable as well as friendly. Definitely worth checking out the new location!

Just like its sister store, I absolutely love it. The store isn't pretty by any means yet but it's getting there. I love that their selection is ever-expanding. I love forward to seeing what D&D stuff they continue to bring in!

I frequent the store and the workers Jon,Ethan, (pictured bellow)and Austin are polite and helpful and make sure you make an informed purchase they make coming to this location a high point of my week every week

Absolutely amazing shop, I went in for Pokemon specifically and they have it all! Prices are competitive to online as well! Can't recommend it enough if you are into Pokemon cards! They have a ton of older stuff that you never see on shelves anymore!

The staff here is so knowledgeable and kind. Very welcoming and doesn’t harbor any judgment for not having the familiarity about certain games or subjects like some other comic and game stores have before. The person who works there with the septum piercing and pokémon tattoos literally deserve a raise and promotion. He was so helpful and personable and I will 100% be returning for all of my upcoming purchases not only due to liking the store and environment, but also because of how phenomenal his customer service and rapport was.

This place is *excellent*, we typically see their booth at trade and comic shows but were able to make it out to the store today for the first time. Everyone that works at the shows is always great to talk to and knows their inventory very well but the storefront is even better. There's a wide variety of nerdy goodness available - something for everyone!

Best prices on Gunpla kits I've ever seen and their stock variety at shows, online, and in the store can't be beat.

This place is really cool! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff as well. I love that they have Japanese candy, chips, and soda too!

Love this place! Great for finding collectables of all sorts. A little on the expensive side but they're pretty reasonable. I go here for cards, Funko pops, and all sorts of Pokémon collectibles. It's worth stopping in and checking some of their stuff out!

One if the only shops of its kind in the area and luckily the staff is nice and they have a good discount section. Great selection of Gundam and other models. They host tournaments and game nights as well. I wish they would've hired me.

I can't recommend this place enough. Fair prices on cards, friendly employees, and a welcoming atmosphere
