Anytime i come in with something to pawn or looking for a particular item to purchase I know it's 1 stop shopping. I have NEVER had to leave unsatisfied because they treat you like family and I guarantee you'll be happy and a repeat customer! I've been to all pawnshops in area and have never been back to any since finding them.

Went into Silas deane pawn shop in Vernon CT to sell gold and I got double the price I wanted. Mike was superb and very knowledgeable and he has a customer for life!

I went into this store on break from my job just to look around since I like antiquing. I ended up finding an item I've been looking for, for yearsss! Mike was an amazing help! He showed me the item a day ago and was very informative and nice. He was very patient with me when I returned today and answered my many questions and even taught me a little bit throughout the purchase! He also cleaned the jewelery piece I purchased and helped me get it clasped. It was a great experience with great workers! Will certainly go back in future :)

This is by far the best pawn shop I have ever been to they always offer top dollar and do everything they can to be fair. Mike is the all time greatest he helps me every time and they are just an all around great group of guys. Taki is the manager and he is super helpful as well and really knowledgeable 😉

Silas Deane Pawn Shop in Vernon is one of, if not, the best pawn shop I have been to. The owner is a really calm and collected kind man who really takes pride in the shop and the customers. It is really clean and have good prices. You can find almost what you’re looking for and if they don’t have it, they will try to find it for you. They don’t care about gauging prices for max profit, they care about the customer and what they will enjoy. 5/5 will be coming back more than once.

Great group of guys work at this location, Taki makes an effort to get to know you and negotiate on prices. The sales reps are professional and courteous, and greet you as soon as you come in. I always feel respected and treated as a regular customer. Thanks guys, keep it up.

Kind and honest, never felt like I got a "bad deal." This location seems to be more flexible in price negotiations then the Manchester location. They both had a very similar item, Vernon took 50% off the tag price while Manchester wouldn't do better than 10% discount on tag price. Manchester employees always seem scattered, disorganized and frustrated. Vernon is a more well oiled machine, staffed with people who are eager and enjoy making deals. I no longer visit the Manchester location.
