Sherman's Maine Coast Book Shop of Rockland

The staff is very knowledgeable, taking me to where the item I'm looking for is located.
They have a good variety for all ages and stuffed animals who seemingly tell me they need to be loved 😉🤭🥰
The Lego selection is very good, and different than at most retail stores in Maine. The rewards program makes future purchases more fun with a bit extra to spend on our grandkids.

I wasn't sure about the location at first. I like to drive to different cities to be able to walk up to different bookshops while strolling downtown. This bookstore is behind a rather busy drive through. I have to say that the space inside trumps the location. The store is large, with clean bathrooms. The selection of books is huge. I can lose myself for hours. My 10 year old daughter loves the selection of YA, as well as the toys. The points system never disapoints. Yet again I had a $10 discount...

I don't rate things five usually but I love this bookstore I took my time walking through the aisle to take it all in I was just so excited to have a bookstore and I was so happy because I got to buy my grandchildren some books highly recommend

My young adult boys and I love this bookstore. There are always great books to find, like this one that shows the women of Maine lobstering, which includes a high school friend of mine. The socks and jewelry are wonderful gems that are not anywhere else in the area. The children's section includes fun and educational toys, along with popular books. There are also puzzles, gifts and much more! I rarely leave without something, so I highly recommend this store. And the staff is just the icing on the cake, so to speak. They are extremely helpful and fun to talk to about different products.

An awsome collection of books, a great place to sit and try some out.

My younger sibling recommended we stop here and I am so glad we did. It's a super cute bookstore. The staff were so friendly and helped me find the book I was looking for. I even got the cutest little stuffed gnome with my book. This is definitely a place I want to return to when I come back to visit Maine. I love bookstores so much. This one is definitely worth the visit

Sherman's is a great, friendly place to find your next book. The Rockland store is large and bright and well organized, and employees are super helpful. They also have games and puzzles.

Wonderful selection of children's books, which is what I went in for. Lovely location.

This is a great bookstore! It has many Maine themed authors and items such as puzzles and gifts. I found so many things to buy here. I highly recommend!!

Awesome Bookstore & So Much More.

Sherman's has it all, plus way too much of my money, because of all the great books, toys, gifts & such they carry. Not to mention a staff that is super helpful, friendly & awesome too!

The collection of gifts as well as books is well needed for the area. Great customer service as well.

If you don't like it because it is not in downtown Rockland then go to Hello Books. I love this location for Sherman's. It's right there when you make the turn to catch Old County Rd or Rt 17 in order to go home to such places as Warren, West Rockport, Thomaston, Union etc. It is spacious and clean and the staff is friendly . So glad you are where you are now.

Great local bookstore that feels like a better version of Barnes and Noble lots more than books

I love their selection of jigsaw puzzles as well as their books.

This place is great and the people are super nice! They have so much cool stuff. I came here because my mom showed me a picture of their huge selection of calico critters.
