Hands down the best place to get a sub or grinder whatever you want to call it all fresh and they have some of the best bread for the sandwich in Brattleboro I think

Gouger's has the best counter staff ever! The sandwiches are practically world renowned because they are amazing! Can't rave enough about this wonderful store!

Food is good and great portion for price! Ice cream is often more than I can eat and they do pup cups. Decent selection for the store size but the staff really make the place great. Friendly, efficient and positive people. Worth you time!

Best roast beef grinder in the area. They also do a lot of catering for various events, so it is not unusual to walk to the smell of lots of bacon cooking.

We love this store! Go her almost every day! Today they gave the girl's soft serve ice cream! They make the best subs, or "grinder's", ! They really fill it up here! Another mom/pop store that's been here forever! Great people with great customer service! Nice place to go for Ice cream and and a grinder and other items you might need!

Gougers is the place for a classic made to order deli sandwich plus soup and specials. They do a steady business with people from around the area. You can call ahead and your order will be waiting for you. Look for specials like their shepherd's pie! Wednesday is lasagna day. In addition, this store is a market which manages to fit a surprising selection of staples, snack food and beverages into their immaculately clean and tidy space.

I can only speak about there cold sandwiches 🥪 and they are always delicious 😋. 5star

Shout out to Jeff and his crew. I Have eaten at Gouger's many times and the grinders and salads are great. We had a family Christmas party this week for about 23 people. We ordered from Gouger's and it was fantastic. Most of the people at the party don't live in town so had never had their food and they raved about it. We got grinders, finger sandwiches, potato salad, Mac & Cheese and some deviled eggs and it was great. The food is always very fresh and delicious. Tuna Mac salad is some of the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend Gougers for a quick delicious lunch or dinner or to get food for your next function. You won't be disappointed.

This is our favorite go to spot on those hot days when we don't wanna heat up the house or if we're just craving a sandwich.😁 And there pickled Kielbasa is to die for.

I love my local little store. Mike, Charity, Jim and Ross are always super friendly and they have the best bacon in town! Only downfall is the riff raff that are constantly in the area. Always seems to be a police officer there or nearby.

The staff are super sweet, the owner is extremely nice and the foods super good. I really love the meatball sub and highly recommend it. It's well cleaned and they had a good menu. Good place to go
