I loved this little walk. There's a public parking lot and street parking. It's an easy walk and so worth the stop. We stopped in early October and I didn't think there would be many flowers but I was pleasantly surprised! There's also the Glacial Potholes across the road and a cute little town with shops, a bookstore cat, coffee shop & restaraunts .

Absolutely worth stopping if you're in the area and like flowers. Gorgeous plants and very well maintained. We were there on a Saturday and it was busy but most people got around with no issue. There are a few benches if you want to sit and let the crowd go by.
Leave your dogs in the car- no pets allowed on the bridge proper.
There's no cost but there is a place for donations.

My video does not do this place justice! The entire bridge is lined with amazing flowers!! The added bonus, on either side of the bridge are cute shops and great places to grab a bite to eat and/or drink!

One heads up, you are not allowed to bring dogs on the bridge. Luckily we had several people with us so that one person could stand with our dog while the other walked the bridge!

Beautiful bridge with an amazing variety of flowers trees and shrubs. Wonderful to read how the towns came together to turn an old trolley bridge onto an attraction. The falls with glacier potholes were serene. No issue with parking and the business area was inviting

Idyllic walking bridge over a lovely river surrounded by hills and a quaint, but enchanting town that also includes views of waterfalls and glaciated potholes. What is not to like!

We picked a great day to go to bridge of flowers. Sadly they are closing for a season sometime this month to fix the bridge. Look forward to seeing it again in 2025.

The Bridge of Flowers is always an elegant treat. You meander through the quaint town of Shelburne Falls and get a sense of timelessness looking at the wonderfully cared for flower garden, looking at the water and glacial potholes. There fun shops to seek treasures and great places to eat (including vegan!). Great for any kind of outing!

Visit soon because it will be closed for a year to make repairs to the bridge!

Nice place for a (short) walk, especially when the weather is nice or when the foliage is changing. We came 26 Sep 2023 and the weather was cool but foliage was not really changing yet. Parked on Water St., walked the Bridge in one direction, stopped for lunch (shout out to Buckland Pizza House, 5 🌟), and returned. CAUTION: THE BRIDGE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE 2024 SEASON.

Such a beautiful well maintained flower bridge. Must see during the season if you are visiting the area. Many volunteers have converted this abandoned trolley bridge into an exquisite garden on the walking bridge.
There few benches on the bridge where you can sit and take all of it in. There are many restaurants and pubs in this area. This area can get touristy and crowded. Do follow all the signs to keep the garden going for many more generations.
There is some parking in the area. I would like to kayak around here if possible in the future.

This was the first time I've visited. I recently got into plants during covid and was surprised with this trip. Lots of beautiful flowers in many colors and some I've never seen before. This was very enjoyable. Walked around the town a bit. It is a nice little day trip. Also visited the dam to see the glacial potholes.

A very beautiful bridge to walk through. There is plenty of parking nearby. Park and walk through the pedestrian bridge then walk on the car bridge for another cool view! Shelburne Falls is a beautiful community.

The flowers are colorful and and well cared for making for an enjoyable experience.
It's free to visit but there is a request for voluntary donations. This is just upstream from the waterfall which is currently roaring due to the rain swollen river. Very impressive.

Such a beautiful place. Quaint little area of town with gorgeous flowers throughout the 3 seasons. On the day we went, there was 2 gentlemen playing music at the end of the bridge and it just added such a special feel to the bridge. Highly recommend.

A beautiful place I stumbled across while driving through the state. I saw a sign on the highway, looked it up and made my way. It absolutely did not disappoint. So many varieties of flowers, and so many different amazing fragrances from each.. it was just incredibly peaceful and happy moment to savor as you walk through. Worth a quick stop.

IMPORTANT UPDATE BELOW. This is a great take for any gardener or just to enjoy the work done by the volunteers that keep this up. Almost all of the plants are labeled, so if you see something you like, you'll know what to ask for at your local nursery. UPDATE. The bridge is going to go through a significant repair and upgrade beginning today, Nov. 1, 2023, and will keep the bridge close until April of 2025. While the Bridge of Flowers is an important part of the community, there is plenty to do here and lots of great shops and restaurants to visit.

An unexpected delight. Started at the parking lot on Water Street, enjoyed an ice cream with the kids at the other end, returned across the auto bridge, viewed the potholes and strolled through town. Loved the history as a trolley bridge, definitely the High Line before the High Line. A real treasure. See it before it’s shut down temporarily for repairs!

Beautiful restoration of an old Trolly bridge. Started in 1929. Still very nice to this day. Located on the Deerfield River, between Buckland and Shelburne Massachusetts. Both New England old country villages.
Highly recommend for an afternoon visit.

Beautiful New England small town with shops, a trolley museum, and stunning river views, all within walking distance of the bridge.

Beautiful flagrant flowers lining a old restored bridge over a scenic river.

It's between two charges mg small towns in Massachusetts that have cafes and places to eat, get a refreshments on both sides.
