Rustic New England elegance in a cozy and romantic dim light setting with old world style tufted leather furniture, two fireplaces and a seasonal rotating menu (for people who love an establishment but enjoy different options) which is absolutely amazing!!!! I’ve been here twice in two months. My first experience blew me away, it doesn’t feel like you’re going to just any restaurant, it was an entire great experience. There was live music and soft songs like “Harvest Moon” by Neil Young being played that really contributed to my first time here with making it a perfect evening. For cocktails, I had the Spiced Pear Blossom (gin) and The Root Issue (Bourbon) both were delicious. I tried the seafood risotto which was a good portion, filling and good. The Harvest Bisque soup was savory. I was excited for the Arugula Salad because the ingredients sound delicious but there barely any toppings. My second visit here I ordered the Grain Salad and it was loaded with toppings, so pleasing and satisfied with this choice. I selected the Fried Chicken with an Apricot Jalapeño glaze and it was delicious but I would’ve actually liked to taste more spice in the heat of the jalapeño finding it to be more sweet than an equal balance. Overall my entree was plated presentation perfect served over mashed potatoes with brussels. There are two seating areas, a smaller dining space and the more spacious room for larger parties that is more spread out with high ceilings. The service both times was excellent. Shana was suggestive and familiar with the menu items, was friendly and had a great personality. The restaurant being so beautiful, a rotating menu (can’t wait to try spring) and creative food components are exactly what I search for when dining out. Definitely check out The Farm Table.

I wish I could give 4 and 3/4 stars. The foodie in me noticed a few things, but overall the food was great. The sweet pea cocktail was just ok. The fried chicken was amazing and the cornbread appetizer was good but very heavy. Over-beaten, likely, but a tasty concept with the garlic sauce. Atmosphere can’t be beat and for small town Bernardston, this is a treasure. Bar opens at 4, dinner starts at 5. And boy does the place flood at 5! Definitely worth your trip. Pick a sunny day, sit outside and enjoy the gardens and a craft beer.

My boyfriend and I love this place. We both had been here many times before and were so pleased to see it opened back up after a long few years of being closed. We thought the pandemic took another great restaurant. To our surprise they’re back! So, last Saturday we decided to go there for dinner for the first time in years and it was still as good as we remembered! Everything was fantastic. I got the scallops and he got the filet and oysters of course because I haven’t stopped hearing about them from him since the beginning of time! Well…. My boyfriend ended up leaving his wallet on the table when we left because we both got so distracted reading the book our check was delivered in with all the customers signatures from over the years. We didn’t realize it until the next afternoon that he was missing it. Unsure of where we even left it, we traced our steps and realized that had to be where it was and we called the next day they had it. Everything in it. If I could give 10 stars I would, just for that! That could have been a really stressful situation on a holiday weekend. Thank you to our server for keeping it safe! I am sorry we can’t remember your name! But, I hope you get the recognition you deserve!

Came on an early Sunday evening with no reservations. The parking lot was packed but had no problems! It’s a very large place! Greeted warmly and sat at a high top in the bar area. Drinks right away, ordered food from the bar and was served delicious food in 6 minutes! Had the fried chicken which came in generous pieces and not greasy at all! Nice sweet crunch to it and very moist. My husband had the meatloaf and one who has a hearty appetite, almost couldn’t finish his last bite. Beer selection was great! No room for dessert but offers a great selection. Received our bill inside a current edition of a book which was quite fun! Beautiful surroundings…great music and delicious food. Will be back!

Just went to The Farm Table last night after finding out they had reopened this week. I had the most delicious perfectly cooked meal that I have had in I can’t remember how long. Ordered the filet with scallops and it was the best. Amanda the bartender made the best drinks! Will definitely being going back soon.

We popped over for a drink. They were busy but made time to mix us Midnight Manhattans and serve us outside. It was the perfect night to be out. Staff personalities matched the night, as did the ambiance. We will be back.

Always an enjoyable meal. Went for a Labor day lunch and wasn't disappointed. We have been a few times for dinner and the meal is always well prepared and the atmosphere is mellow. I never bring my young children because it would ruin it for me and everyone else. Best food in Bernardston. But i guess that isn't saying much. Best in Greenfield area, maybe #3 in Franklin County.

The Farm table at Kringle candle is spectacular!! What a gorgeous restaurant. We sat and went course by course in a quiet corner table by the fireplace, our waitress Taylor was as outstanding as one could ask for, not skipping a beat when we needed something or to not leave us sitting too long in between courses yet not overcrowding us either..
between the beautiful restaurant, the fantastic food and the furniture, as I will show in the photos, was made by D.R. Dimes Co. WOW!!! Stunning.. making for a wonderful experience. We sat for almost two hours having a spectacular evening.
Beautiful furniture, beautiful restaurant, great food and a great staff!! We will be going back soon. After checking, You may find the furniture maker D.R. Dimes in Northwood NH and of course on line.

My husband and I dined here on Tuesday, 9/26, for my birthday. We were so excited to come back after many years as we had a top notch experience 5+ years ago before COVID when the restaurant closed. Last night's dinner did not disappoint! We were so thrilled with our dinner, server, and overall experience. We will be back!

So glad that the Farm Table is open again. I do wish they had more than one vegetarian option. I loved the pictures in the men's room!

It's just perfect. Food was excellent, prices were reasonable, and the ambiance is spot on. If your on a new england road trip, this is a must stop restaurant.

Beautiful country setting with a great staff and good food. It's quite expensive, so be prepared for that. The roasted brussel sprouts are fantastic. Their flatbreads are great as well. The burger was pretty good, but nothing out of this world. The cocktails are creative and quite good.

Amazing food for a reasonable price. Multiple different dining areas with a different feel to each, along with outside covered dining.
The mix drinks were delicious and the corn bread with red pepper jelly is out of this world

I've been hearing great things about The Farm Table since shortly after they opened. The food and service live up to the word of mouth. Finally went there with a group of friends for Sunday brunch. It looks great inside, a cross between classic tavern/farmhouse and high end cafe/bar.

Most of my friends ordered the eggs Benedict, they looked delicious and I heard numerous reports that they were. I ordered the French toast with lemon blueberry said and maple cream glaze; It was amazing. Even the kids pancakes my daughter had we're well presented and surrounded by blueberry's, she didn't quite finish them so i can vouch for their tastiness as well. The hash browns that came with the eggs Benedict are a mix of potato, sweet potato, and onion, they were sweet and savoury.

We also ordered the cornbread with garlic butter and pepper jam. The cornbread was a bit dry to me, but very flavorful. The garlic butter/pepper jelly mix helped significantly with the dryness.

We will return here again to try the rest if the menu.

We really enjoy sitting at the bar and socializing with different people. The espresso machine is gorgeous and makes the best ever.
Our favorite lunch food here is the Oysters.
Sometimes I leave my husband at the bar while I go shopping at Kringle Candle and the gift shop on the same grounds.
This really works out well!!
