Bakery had a good selection of cakes and also frozen cakes for parties and birthdays even vegan options

This is the best Safeway I've been to so far. They had all the items I needed. The staff and even the security guard were very nice. My Safeway club card worked for the first time in 3 years. The staff were not upset about me using it, as some Safeways have been in other locations. So thank you to the staff especially Aenoy. Who was very nice and very helpful in making sure I was logged in to get the member prices. And thank you to corporate Safeway for hiring such wonderful, helpful and kind staff. It is really appreciated to walk in with a smile and leave with an even bigger one! Stay Happy 😊

Christmas Day at Safeway was insane yet festive. Hundreds of people buying last minute holiday items consisting of everything imaginable. Even though the store over crowded it was still an enjoyable experience. The opportunity to share time and space with complete strangers was enriching. So glad to have been there.

I have been to four Safeways in desperate search for the jumbo stuffed unicorn that my daughter saw there the week before at the Crocker Safeway. When I went back to get it, they only had bears and sloths. I was already done with her Xmas shopping until she met Santa at school and told him that was all she wanted. I wanted to make it happen. After Amazon couldn’t get it here before Xmas, I decided to fight the traffic at Arden mall. 100 stores, no luck. I visited three children’s stores and decided to try Arden Safeway.

I met Christina who was stocking the candy and I told her my dilemma. She proceeded to group chat the other store managers and ask for help with the search. She was able to chat and confirm they had one at the Alhambra store. I got in the car and raced over. When I got to customer service, it was the little one and not the big one. I was crushed from my efforts. I didn’t know what to do.

I did not have her last name or number and she had said she was just there helping out and it wasn’t her store. I tried Arden’s customer service and they found Christina who was about to leave. She took my cell number and said she would reach out to the two nearby districts and have them check inventory. An hour later, she called to say there was one in Fairfield and the store manager was heading to Sacramento and would drop it off at the Alhambra store. Two hours later, I received the text from Christina saying it was ready for pickup.

My daughter will be over the moon on Christmas keeping the Christmas miracle alive. Shout out to Christina the store director of Elk Grove Calvin’s store who is my Christmas miracle. You went way above and beyond. You are absolutely amazing. I think you are the unicorn!!!

My name is Destiny and I spoke with Bailey and Maddie in the bakery department at this location and we’re both wonderful and definitely helped me choose a cake and cupcakes that I will be picking up and I just appreciate the service and kindness .. that’s priceless

Safeway always has great deals and you really do save with using your Safeway card when checking out. Plus using their card is "Free" to sign up and get. Forgot your Reward's card? At the check out just put your phone number you have an watch those items for Rewards members be added on the lower price an saved. Who doesn't love to save money. Love that their beautiful arrangement of different types of flowers are reasonable too in price.

One of my pre made salad's from there..SOOO Delicious.. Every week I go grab some so worth it .

Safeway was great. I have noticed on Sundays,still busy with consumers but the pace it's seems to be faster,and it works out .you get checked out quickly,and back to the Sundays traffic,not too bad. Safe ride home.Friends,homies,and loved ones56y NJ NJ 6r4⅖

I really like this Safeway. The staff is always nice and friendly and eager to help you find an item if you can’t find it. I really like the Starbucks inside of this Safeway. There is a young lady there who is so helpful and very patient with me when I am ordering my drinks. Sometimes the fruit isn’t always fresh. But I enjoy the atmosphere . Five stars for the Starbucks & five stars for the Safeway. I value a good/ friendly local customer service! Thank you Starbucks barista!!!!!!!

Love going to Safeway. My doctor put me on a no salt Diet so I’m able to get pretty much what I need

This Safeway has a very friendly staff and they are very helpful.

I usually use the drive up option because I have massive anxiety issues, plus it’s faster for me, and I can honestly say this place is absolutely amazing! They always get my order right and on time. They’re always super nice and make me feel comfortable showing up, I recommend them!

Yes I was there@ Safeway. I was told this drink is good. But does any1 remember the young group of kids sang that song Bai,Bai, Bai. They were so good looking guys back then .

Stopped in to pick up last minute items. Store was clean and brightly lit and shelves were fully stocked. With assistance from helpful friendly employees I quickly found exactly what I was looking for. Using self check-out made shopping here fast and convenient. I was able to get in and out in 20 minutes. Masks are required when entering and safety precautions are being used to ensure you have a safe and pleasant shopping experience. Shopping here is highly recommended.

Clean aisles and very organized. Employees are very personal with customers at check out. Store has all the ingredients and food you need to have a prepared healthy meal on your dining table.

As always the store was fantastic. I love that they have fresh fruit cut up and ready to go. Their bagels are always fresh and you have many choices to choose from. Oh! The people at the register are always friendly and quick to get you on your way.
