Giant Eagle Supermarket

I'm only giving this store 5 stars because our favorite cashier works here, Joe. He is always working, he is friendly, informative, fast-paced, and funny. My husband and I will always go to his line. If Joe leaves...the ratings will drop...seriously. Give that man a raise!!

Nice store, good selection. Like their pepperoni bread, fried chicken, and their firecracker coleslaw. Cute Holiday and Browns cakes! Friendly, helpful staff.

The store was clean. Most people were helpful. Cashier Daniel M was a no show on being friendly. I would say something and he did not even answer. Also he needs a new shirt! All tattered at the bottom and wrinkled.

This is one of two Giant Eagles that I can drive to in under 3 minutes. The plaza it's in has multiple driveways that are quick and easy to access, and adequate parking close to the store. The people here are unusually friendly in my experience. The store itself is clean, and they almost always have two people cleaning carts in the outer entrance area. I think this is a nicely sized store. It's a little larger, but not a gigantic warehouse. I really like this particular setup because it allows you to quickly go to the section you're looking for instead of forcing you in a particular direction. Once you enter the store you can go in three directions easily. To the left you have services and pharmacy. Straight ahead you have floral, liquor, and the first of regular store aisles. To the right you have fresh vegetables and fruit, after which it curves left into specialty/prepared foods, bakery, wine, seafood and the deli. All in all, this is my favorite Giant Eagle.

Don't usually shop at Giant Eagle. Just ran in for a few things. They just started the "No More" plastic bag policy. Strangely the cashier just threw my items back into the shopping cart! Good thing to remember is always take in your reusable bags. Lesson learned make sure I keep them in my car!! Store was very clean, stocked and we'll organized!

The employees are very friendly and always helpful, I just wish the store could keep up with the specials. I can rarely find the GE sparkling water in stock when its not on sale, when it is on sale forget it!!! NONE to be found :( I'm diabetic and can't drink regular pop so the sparkling water is a what I look for and prefer the GE brand over the others.

I shop here several times a week. The employees ae friendly and helpful. The selection of food is great and produce is always fresh. The only suggestion the the manager should assign 1-2 more people to the deli. There is often a 10 minute or longer wait for some sliced meat.

This was my 1st time shopping here as I am new to Ohio. Every Employee I talked to was very nice and showed me what I was looking for I was excited to see they carry some of the brand names items I enjoy. The bakery and deli selections are very nice and I love the fresh meat case.
The checker even gave me the giant eagle reward pricing and explained how to get my own card. Overall great shopping experience.

This review is for 1 employee Meghan who was my cashier. I'm at this store once a week at least. She was quick and efficient. She bagged my groceries! For the past few years I have had to bag my own groceries while the cashier waits for me to catch up. She was awesome!

Located in the center of town. Also the singing shopping cart guy is a lot of fun. He brings a smile to all the people he greets.

Who stole the keishka, from the butcher shop! Someone call the cops!

Love this little neighborhood grocery store.

A wide selection and friendly staff, plus deals and discounts, especially if you have a giant eagle card. (Ps - it's free) You get perk points towards money off on groceries or gas at get-go's for every dollar or two you spend. A very good place to get groceries.

Please take the time to thank and reward the sushi chefs …. Absolutely fantastic sushi always and today I had the Ahi Poke Salad , it was super good !!! Thank you !!!!!!

This has been my store for over 30 years. Meat cutters are the best. Cashiers you cannot ask for nicer people. Pharmacy always willing to help.

Great store, great people, although I wish it was bigger and had more selections.

Every time I go into the Giant Eagle store in North Royalton, (which is the request of my wife), because I work for Heinens, its like walking into a morgue. If any of the cashiers smile it would probably break their face. Today the cashier never acknowledged me, and I had a bagger (which is very rare) he acted like I was making him do something like cutting his arm off
I believe you need to have a customer service program that every employee has to go through after they are there after 3 months. Plus you need to establish after you hire someone before the actually start wofking on the floor.

I have never met a grocery store with a better staff! Every cashier I have had at this store is so friendly!
