Bunky Brothers Comics

Brian and Bob at Bunky Brothers Comics are some of the nicest guys you would ever want to work with, in this great hobby of comic book collecting. Huge selection of comics at there massive wear house and both are big comic book "Fan Boys" like myself. It is always a great experience buying books from the Bunky Brothers. I have also brought in a bunch of comics from my personal collection, that they have bought off me. I HIGHLY recommend that if you have books to sell, trade, or have a "want list" contact the Bunky Brothers.

Purchased a book from Bunky Brothers on one of their Instagram sales and didn’t think much more of it. They were super communicative and because I was “local” offered to let me pick it up from the warehouse.
It was a privilege to dig around in there for a while. They have amazing product, super competitive pricing and they are the only comic book dealers to ever offer me a cup of coffee while I looked around.
I will definitively try to get back out there, even if my wallet will hate me for it.
If you like comic books and are in the area, make an appointment. You won’t be disappointed.

First, this is not your standard retail comic book store. And while they do sell to the retail, they do not carry action figures, cards or the like. Don't come here looking for new comic Wednesday. Additionally, you need to call in advance to make an appointment to see them.

Bunky Brothers is essentially a warehouse filled with long boxes packed with older comics, from the Silver and Golden ages. They also had numerous Modern age books, but I wasn't really Most of their issues appear to be raw, but they also have a number of slabbed books, much to my chagrin. Their inventory is deep, the grading and pricing fair. If you love comic books, particularly older, harder to find ones, this is the place for you. I'll be back.

The Bunky Brothers (Brian & Bob) are Top Notch. I've had the pleasure of knowing them as collectors and dealers and always have had wonderful experiences with them. It's nice to find dealers that also love the hobby as much as you do as a collector. I worked with Brian on a deal where the Bunky's purchased a good chunk of my well enjoyed comic collection. I've had the pleasure of visiting the Bunk Brother's warehouse at many of their locations through the years, but their newest location is a different level experience. When I visit them, Brian and Bob always greet us with a smile and offer water or coffee (sometimes pizza or other take out depending on how long we stay). Always great and engaging in conversation and knowledge, we go into the thousands of boxes full of every age of comic and pulp item you could imagine. It's not only a fruitful trip, but an enjoyable experience from beginning to end.

Great selection of Golden and Silver age books, as well as many modern books for those interested, it is something that any comic collector should not miss. They also have a very nice selection of CGC graded comics and very cool magazines. Everything is lined up and easy to access. Great deals and easy going, you won't get treated better than the Bunkys. I look forward to the next trip to the Bay area from Sacramento as soon as possible.

I have done countless amount of comic book deals with the Bunky Brothers online and also in person. After all those deals I can happily say that they are one of the best in the business to work with! NOT A RETAIL STORE!

Don't be lulled in by Google's listing, this is not a store to just walk up and peruse, although the kiddo and I, killing time while the missus was at a physical therapy appointment, thought it was.

Still the Bunky Bros. team didn't turn us away. They invited us in, chatted about their business, why we stopped by (just moved to the area and are getting a feel for the options), and were still as helpful and communicative as any retail comic store staff... maybe more so.

So if you have a hankerin' for collectible comics (and they have A LOT), call ahead and make an appointment, or peruse any of the several online avenues to pick up their stock.

If you ever wanted to visit that warehouse at the end of Indiana Jones, do yourself a favor and visit the Bunky’s. There are more boxes of comics per square inch than anywhere I’ve had the privilege of digging. Brian and Bob are a barrel of laughs and make the experience all the more memorable. You won’t be disappointed. 5 stars all around.

Bob and Brian are standup comic aficionados and humans. I randomly reached out to help get some expert advice on ungraded (yes I know) golden age comics that I bought on the internet, and Brian was super helpful and gave more more time and access to Bob and pals than I expected. Ultimately, we discovered the extent of restoration that was done on my comics where I was able to make an informed decision to return the comics for refund in time. Thank you and I will be back!

Phenomenal selection of GA to Copper age books and one of best comic dealers in the business. Took a trip down to their warehouse and came back with a huge haul of books at bargain prices. So make the trip and check them out you won't be disappointed.
