We are blessed to have this store in easy walking distance from home for nearly 13 years. I'm in a couple time a week and never have had a negative experience with any employee. Sean the night manager is especially helpful and makes everyone feel welcome. I and have seen the staff handling difficult customers with dignity which is important to me as I work in the mental health and addiction care. The pharmacy here is a very helpful, quality operation as well. Glad to have our neighborhood grocery store!

I gave Carr's 5 stars because the store had everything that I was looking for and the staff were very nice and helpful too I'm also happy that I saved money over there. 🙂

It was a quick in and out as I only had 1 4euseable bag for essential shopping and on the way out the door i heard someone say go steel somewhere else, I guess he hadn't been taught eating is a natural right

Great location, of course you have the crowded hours. Parking lot getting worked on has helped a bit by the gas station there.

Always, nice service, clean store,and fair prices.

Carrs/Safeway, in Anchorage, is one of the larger supermarket chains with a wide variety of products. They have handicap scooters available to make it easier to shop. The market is clean which helps to make it an enjoyable shopping experience. Employees are very courteous and helpful. I like shopping here.

Abbott Rd. Carrs just feels better then the other Carrs in town...its all clean and lit up bright and they keep the shelves stocked and dont have many holes on the shelves which is becoming a problem at other Carrs, often I'll have to go to more then one store to get all the things on my list.

Always my go to groceries! If you don't have the just for you app you must get. Sometimes it's cheaper to shop there with the app.

Remodeling. Looks great. That's a I can say good......the store itself is starting to look nice.

They only have a couple employees that make it worth shopping there. Sean being the main one. Hope nobody else gets issues with cash back.....it will decline at some point. After getting embarrassed because your card declines you check your account....it really approved it but you'll have to come back the next day n talk to their accountant n manager. Needless to say... I got the run around. They don't know the 1st thing about customer service nor do they care. Sean rocks......super friendly n always willing to help. They don't deserve him.

Staff are mostly friendly, loss prevention should focus on people who are really the problem though. It gets old shopping with a shadow. I live 2 blocks away and I shop there very regularly and would love it if they paid better attention to detail and put their efforts where they needed to be. It makes my experiences there frustrating.

I found this to be my favorite store. It is not too big, and overwhelming like other BIG Brands. My favorite is the section that has prepped meals for two that can be prepared for a meal in minutes, or there's always the option of having a second portion for the next day.

Overall no complaints about it. I go there fairly regularly and I've been able to find what I need for a pretty good price. Checkout is also usually quick and if the line is long self checkout is always an option.

Great prices, the employees at this store are extremely friendly, Starbucks is amazing, especially there manager CINDY! FYI =STAY AWAY from the PHARMACY they 86 your butt if you need them to call your insurance or Dr. more then once ,There 2 busy they say! ( all PHARMACIES are busy carrs PHARMACY MANAGER!! SO, there are alot of Pharmacy's that will call, & they are cheaper. a lot cheaper and friendlier & FASTER !! 725E NORTHERN LIGHTS WALGREENS (If you dont have insurance ask Walgreen's for there discount card. )

I called ahead to check if they had small white cakes as it was my birthday, and the young woman who answered actually went and grabbed the last one and left it at the front for me with a note wishing me a happy birthday

The workers are friendly and helpful. Nice place to go to it's clean. They are adding new things and items to the store witch is great.

Carrs has a great selection of meat products I always shop here for my meats. Also if you're into the Ice sparkling water there is a Fruit Punch flavor that I have only seen here.

I love shopping at Carrs/Safeway I love my personal experiences with management and regular workers and everybody's always so nice and so helpful no other store can give me that experience.

This Carrs Safeway is much cleaner then the one I used to work at and has friendly management/staff. + one star because there was a homeless guy sleeping on and by the time I left workers were already taking care of him.

Every time I go in cars I find exactly what I'm looking for though the prices have consistently gone up it seems to always have what I need and the location of this particular store it's just around the corner
