This is a lovely used bookstore! While I felt some of the classic / older books were a bit overpriced, most of the selection and prices were great and we’d definitely go back anytime we are in town. The gentleman manning the store was nice and helpful. This is a “must stop” for anyone who loves a used or general bookstore.

Best local bookstore! Whimsical atmosphere. You could get lost in here for hours. Convinced its magic! Prices are very reasonable and shelves are packed with tons of amazing books plus hidden gems of trinkets, postcards, art, etc. The owner is very kind and hilarious! I love the selection of children’s books. This is the best bookstore I have visited so far!!

One of the most special places in VA! The storefront has a diverse selection of books and has many trinkets scattered throughout the shelves. Taking your time to go through each shelf and each corner is so very fun, especially when with a friend or group. Additionally, the owner very kind and helped me pick out a postcard from his own collection. The only negative would be the pricing, as the books can be quite expensive compared to other bookstores/thrift stores in the area.

One of the best used book stores I've visited. Even with the loose categorization, the quaint and unassuming atmosphere is infectious.

We took a stroll through town and wound up at this wonderful place! Wound up carrying a ton of books back to the car because I couldn't leave any of my finds behind. :+)

OMG what a treasure! I am a booklover by nature and was immediately drawn to this bookstore. It is a small two-story shop, which I believed to be someone's home. Every nook and cranny is filled filled filled with books and postcards, handmade leather bound journals, magnifying glasses, puzzles, scarves, you name it. We were in there for about 45 minutes just marveling. The owner was incredibly sweet and when he saw my kid playing with a wood puzzle he asked "ready to be puzzled?" In here, I found a childhood book that I have been searching for, for about 20 years. I couldn't believe it! For $8 dollars, I was able to finally find the book that I so vividly remember from my childhood. I borrowed it from the library and used it for my first classroom presentation in English. Basically, this was the first book I read in English and I remember it so well. I read it the whole way home and couldn't have been happier. I will definitely stop by next time in the area.

I came across this store while walking through downtown Leesburg. What a Gem! The owner didnt seem to friendly, but the tiney shop is super cozy and loaded with books. It even still has that old "book smell" which is a smell that I cherish. If you're the "curl up, drink coffee and read a good book" type of person, this will be the spot for ya!

Update: Mr Robinson,
I thank you for your thoughtful response and kind apology. We all have a day where we may not notice that we dont as "warm" as we would like to. And okait's okay. I will certainly be visiting your store again soon as I am on the hunt for some good 2nd hand educational books on Environmental Science and mammals.

Thank you again!

One of the most magical bookstores I've ever visited. Crowded (yet organized) shelves filled with delightful new surprises and old favorites, comfortable seating in each room, delightful art, and a lovely owner who welcomed us without hovering. Wish I lived closer enough to visit often, but it's now a must-stop when passing through Leesburg.

I LOVE IT HERE!! ❤ So many unique and hard to find books! Everything seemed very reasonably priced too. I found a book for a series I collect and have been missing and looking for for awhile now! I am so excited to have finally found a copy! This is the place to check if you’re looking for hard to find books! It’s a book paradise!

This is our family’s all-time favorite bookstore. Quaint and comfortable, we’ve spent hours browsing in here. We always leave with a load of books, but rarely spend more than $50. The owner is friendly & welcoming, and has helped our son develop his love of reading. I am proud to have continued to patronize Books and Other Found Things throughout the pandemic, and I’m glad it has made it to the other side. I’ll be back!

While it’s not always easy to figure out their hours, this place really is a treasure. Unique, used books, and the personal touch of an owner who really cares about customers. If you’re in the area and they’re open , this place is a must.

I absolutely love this book store! I travel all the way to Leesburg just to visit this beautiful and magical place. I always feel welcomed to browse as long as I want, and never feel pressured to purchase. However I have added many treasures to my collection of books and artifacts which I have discovered over the years in this store.
