Salvation Army Family Thrift Store

I visited this store today for the first time (on 5/26/23). The manager was the most friendly/happy person. You can tell she loves what she does and it shows in the store. It’s very well organized and they have some really nice items. I took photos today. See below. The dresses (wedding dresses and other formal dresses. Some of the wedding dresses are brand new with tags from a bridal store that closed). Definitely worth checking it out.

I have been shopping here for a very long time. They are very helpful. And are willing to pass the savings on. They are not like other places. They don't charge eBay pricing for their items. Highly recommend this place

I love thrift stores- first time to this one. They have a lot of kitchen stuff and they have a section that is color-coded, which is cool. The clothing section is not too big and kids clothing section is smaller than adults. The lady there was so friendly. I'll definitely go back.

I've been going to this store for years, and I love it. The prices are pretty fair and there is always a great selection of furniture. Lisa at the register is very helpful and made my recent experience great.

First, I want to comment on the hard work all of the employees and volunteers do at this location. All of the workers are personable, friendly, and always willing to help. I have yet to see anyone unhappy. Renee` runs a tight ship and is extremely knowledgeable. Matt is strong and takes care of business. They all work great as a team...they all hustle to get the large donations sorted, priced, and out on the floor. I have yet to find someone that is not helpful, friendly, or working their tail off. There are also many good items to choose from at this location, and they have a dressing room and restroom.
Second, I want to comment on just how rude and insensitive the above comment is describing someone as "fat and wearing shorts all the time". It is obvious that the person writing the review is in need of some etiquette training. Based on their description, with such words of wisdom (NOT), their opinion holds no value. It is a shame that we have such ill-mannered people to deal with in this world. And, when working as hard as the people there do, wearing shorts may help reduce the body heat and sweating from a person that is doing a lot of moving and lifting.
Third, I would highly recommend this Salvation Army to anyone. There are good, hard-working people there that remember you as you return.

I was really impressed by the prices of the majority of things, they are extremely reasonable and they had a great selection of furniture. We purchased several children’s books for less than a dollar total.

Came in during a store wide 50% off sale, the store was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The overall quality of the products available was better than the average salvation army/good will. This will definitely be my go to second hand store now!

Visited the Leesburg Donation Center on March 2, 2021 to make a donation and find some books. Contrary to previous visits, I am happy to say those accepting my donations and those managing and working in the sales area were very courteous and helpful. Additionally the interior was very, very clean and well organized. When checking out, I found out someone new was in charge -what a change/improvement!!. Good work and my thanks to the new director,superviser and the associates.

First time at this location and will be coming back again soon! Such great people working here (not the same experience at all as others who have posted before). And, as always Salvation Army has such an impactful mission in very own community. Highly recommend this organization and location 🙂

Nice store. If you didn't know it was here you would pass right by it. It's hidden off of the main road. Selection seems to change consistently and prices are to be expected...normal for a thrift shop. I would recommend.

I find things here I did not know I needed. I love this store and come here whenever I find myself in this area. People are nice here and the store is clean and tidy. Good housewares section.

Wow this is one of the best thrift stores I have ever been to. All the items are in good condition and they putting up surprise sale

This isn't an easy place to find when you're not using a GPS 🙈 but despite getting there THE minute it opened, everyone was helpful and friendly! Thankful for a staff like this!

Inexpensive every day items sometimes a gem goes to a good cause.

The king of thrift stores. I like that nearly all of the precedes from your donations go directly to helping those in need and not to administrators.
