La Bee da Loca

This is a great little shop w/a huge variety of honey-based products. What sets them apart from other local honey farms is the old town charm & live hive, (which is a climb up a rickety set of stairs, yet still amazing to watch) but the staff & owner are legit & genuine & I believe that the future of all of my local honey purchasing will be from here. Strongly recommend that you stop in & they even have tiny honey sticks for stocking stuffers/gift baskets, if you go around the winter holidays.

I went into this little cute store to see the bee hive. Yes they have a working hive upstairs. I love honey bees and wanted to see what they had. The gentleman at the counter was so nice and everything was labeled for sale which local is the best in my opinion. The prices are fair for buying local and seeing the hive dis not disappoint me.

I met some friends in Culpeper because it is a halfway point. We didn't have a great plan and weren't sure what we would do. After stumbling into this place, Amal (I think) who was at the counter welcomed us and made us feel at home. We got to see the bees upstairs and bought some local honey and gifts. That reminds me: I need to email the owne to ask about the queen bee and where to get some honeycomb 🤓

Officially my favorite store in Culpeper! Great selection of gifts and items to treat yourself. The store manager (owner?) was very friendly and eager to answer all my questions about the bees. He seemed to be very passionate and it was a lot of fun observing the bees hard at work on the second floor. No luck finding the queen bee but maybe next time! Would recommend all stop by and support this local business.

If you are in Culpepper, you have to visit La Bee Da Loca. The honey is delicious and the customer service is fantastic. The owner, Felecia Chavez, is super knowledgeable about honey bees and is really friendly. She showed us the bee hive upstairs. I can’t recommend this store enough!

Felecia the store owner is absolutely incredible and one of the kindest souls! She has an abundance of bee knowledge and the sweetest products for sale from Honey stix, to the best smelling soaps, and cutest home wares! My fiancé and I were visiting from San Francisco this past weekend and this store was one of the highlights of our trip! Be sure to go upstairs and checkout the hive she has in house! Its incredible to watch!

We stopped there today while exploring Culpeper. I believe the lady at the counter was the owner Felicia. She was very welcoming and polite. She showed us upstairs where they have the bees. Besides her amazing customer service, the store has a lot of gifts, honey, decor, soaps and creams. We definitely recommend this place and we will go back.

Stopped by with my daughter today and so happy that we did! La Bee Da Loca was such a wonderful shop and had a great selection. The owner Felecia took us upstairs and showed us the bees, it was awesome watching them make honey. My daughter is your typical 4 year old, full of questions and energy. Felecia was kind and patient with us. We will definitely be back.

I absolutely loved this store! It was so peaceful and fun watching the hive upstairs and trying to spot the queen. I left with honey products that I didn’t even know existed; I can’t wait to try the whipped honey. I’ve never been to a shop like this and I’m so happy it exists! The cashier was also delightful and answered some of our bee questions. Can’t wait to come back!

Such a cute place to go to. Incredibly friendly staff who cares a lot about her shop.
The soaps are fantastic, the body butters work very well
And of course the honey sticks are super yummy!
It's always worth a visit!
The upstairs has a very interesting bee hive that is glass on one side, so a visitor is able to look and see the bees.

Love this store! The local honey I get is awesome. Truly enjoy the conversations with Felicia, great Lady. The candle she recommended has the place smelling wonderful!! Don't forget to get yourself some honey straws for the road.

This is a very charming shop. The owner was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the products and the benefits of honey and the various honey products. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed picking out gifts for family and ourselves, tasting some delicious honeys, and seeing the bees upstairs! I highly recommend making a visit here.

Love this cute shop! There is an active beehive on the upper level. My kids really enjoyed that. I bought an "anti-itch" stick for my son's eczema, and it's so awesome! Whenever he's itching, I apply it to his itchy spots, and within minutes, he has relief, and it actually heals that itchy patch! It's amazing! The owner is very knowledgeable, and talked with my children a long time about bees, and then she offered my children a free flavored honey stick since it was their first time at her shop. I also bought some delicious honey. We will definitely return!

If you’re in Culpeper, you need to stop in here! The storefront is adorable with plenty of great gifts for bee lovers or anyone really, and upstairs is an “observation hive” where you can watch the bees at work! Incredible. My children love to come see the bees. The owner is incredibly friendly and educational. It’s always a fun experience to stop in here!

Such an amazing place! The owners are so friendly and informative, and it’s amazing getting to watch the bees in action. They have a variety of products, and I love being able to get local honey from their hives.

She had so many interesting facts to share, both about bees and about some of the history in Culpeper. Exactly the kind of experience someone traveling may be looking for! Not to mention, plenty of amazing soaps, honey, decor, and more to choose from! Definitely recommend swinging by to check it out!

Great little shop! Loved the observation hive and the owner was a joy to chat with. Highly recommend stopping in if you're around downtown Culpeper. Oh, and the honey straws are a yummy and fun little treat!
