Wonderful place and great vibe. Loved the location. We got to visit the farm as well which are beautiful. Got to experience freshly made wine which was a great experience.

The hosts are super nice people and very welcoming and flexible.

If you are in the area, absolutely consider visiting this place, if for morning else then a casual and relaxed evening with wine!

This was a lovely winery/brewery/cidery/meadery. I tried 2 wines,a beer, and a mead on a flight and they all were excellent. My husband enjoyed his IPA, and my daughter had a glass of wine. There was a limited amount of indoor (away from the wind) seating, as it was still a little brisk and the wind was going strong. There was also lots of outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A great place and I look forward to coming back!

This is a nice country winery. They have a good wine list. They have a commercial style playground for kids. There is outside seating with a fire pit and other seating spread around the property plus indoor as well. Looks like food trucks come on the weekend and the winery offers a snack tray for purchase. This is a nice cozy place that is not crowded.

Beautiful setting, great wines, super dog friendly. Band was great too. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend my birthday evening.

Awesome owners, awesome location, awesome wines! We had a great time visiting the winery with our pup. The winery is spacious and beautiful and they have plenty of family friendly games. We will be returning!

dessert wine. Bonus they allow outside food!

Delightful winery. The staff is exceptional. The location is beautiful. They have a lot of fun events as well. I highly recommend the meads and ciders when they have them.

I can't say enough about this wonderful place. My husband and I got married at Mountain Run Winery a year ago, and everything was absolutely perfect -- from the owner's incredible hospitality, to delicious wine in a beautiful mountain setting. The owners will absolutely make sure your day is everything you hope for and more, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had the best wedding we could have imagined here.

We had both our ceremony and reception here, right in the midst of COVID, and we can't thank Mountain Run Winery enough for allowing us to celebrate while keeping all our guests safe. Not to mention, due to a death in our family and COVID shutdowns we had to reschedule our wedding date three times, and the owners were there with us every step of the way and generously allowed us to reschedule with no loss of our deposits. Their understanding and generosity was a true testament to their kindness and professionalism.

Every location at this venue is simply gorgeous, we used the overlook for our ceremony and the barn for our reception and both worked out perfectly -- even when it rained. The bridal-ready area was also beautiful and worked out perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get prepared for the big day. Mountain Run's staff went above and beyond to help us set up and tear down the ceremony and reception areas, and were simply wonderful with all our guests at the bar during the reception.

Unbelievably peaceful place. Amazing wine and beer (and occasionally mead and fruit wine). My son loves to play on the playground and walk around playing Pokémon Go. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent wine for all pallets and a sense of fun make this winery in a corn crib a great destination. They have a nice size venue so social distance is no problem. We went for the afternoon to sit in the shade, sip some wine and soak in some blues. Highly recommend.

Best winery for families and friends and dates.

Amazingly beautiful landscape and sunset. Friendly environment and fun for families, several events were going on at the same time. A fundraiser for psoriasis, a Dagorhir larp and live entertainment open to the public. Food was grilled by Bob and Sue and was awesome! Vending was available and the weather held up fir most of the time.

By far one of the best wineries in VA. They have only been open for 7 years and their wines are so good! This is the first winery I have honestly enjoyed every single wine they have.

Not only are the wines tasty and varied, the atmosphere of the place is so relaxed and fun, not like some of the more stuffy places. Bring over a pizza from town or a picnic of your own and add a bottle of their wine to the experience! Enjoy friendly owners and beautiful backdrop with gorgeous sunsets! Plus there’s a playground for the littles!

This is also the ONLY place open till sunset! Not like the others who close at 6, come enjoy an occasional bonfire! They have events every few months including yoga at the winery and pallet painting on site! I've never been around such happy and pleasant staff at a winery.

I’ve photographed several weddings at Mountain Run Winery and it is definitely one of my favorite venues! The outdoor ceremony site has a gorgeous view and there are ENDLESS options for photo locations around the property. It’s a photographer’s dream! Even on a rainy day, the barn and covered front porch of the farmhouse are great backup options for the ceremony and for photos. The owners are amazing and my clients have all loved their experience with them.

I’ve visited the winery on non-wedding days also – the wines are wonderful and they’ve got so many fun events!

A lovely winery with very kind staff! My friend and I stopped in while driving through Culpeper, and we were impressed with the variety and quality of the wines. It’s right off of 29, so very easy to get to, but it feels like you’re out in the country.

I especially was intrigued by their unique wines, like Petit Verdot and their Culpeper Crimson (Norton grapes) blend, since you dont often find wines made like these! My impression was that this winery has options that are boldly unique in their creation, but are very well executed. And of course, this is in addition to a variety of all of the classic types of red and white wine that you would expect. They also have two types of Rosé, as well as a cider!

Beautiful setting! Greenlee Tavern is newly built. We were checking it out for rentals.

The location is simply divine. Honestly one of the most beautiful wineries I’ve visited. Since my first time coming I’ve been back on 3 separate occasions just for the Cider alone. A wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff makes it so that I can’t wait to come back again. They also host such fun and unique events that it’s always a wonderful and new experience every visit. Can’t wait to come down again from New York’s wine country!

The site is lovely. Wish I had known about it before I had my wedding, because the venue would have been perfect- the staff are excellent. Playground area on site for the kids. They have great meads and wines, and they just started to serve beer. Often times they have entertainment and food trucks on site. Love the beautiful wooden barns. They host all sorts of great events for the community. Highly recommend.

I've been here a number of times, either for wine tastings or because of one of the many events they frequently run. The wine is delicious, and they often have an interesting cider or mead. On top of that, the estate is beautiful, and the owners are so friendly. Such a great location!

Mountain Run Winery is easily one of my favorite places to be. Their meads are delicious (and I will judge a place on their mead). I've been to many of the events that staff host here and I could not recommend a venue more. It's gorgeous, it's clean, it's well organized, and the staff are thoughtful, kind, and generous.
