Double Js

Double J's is what i call a "junk shop" it's not a thrift store, and it's not an antique store, and their selection is eclectic. they are absolutely my favorite local shop. I am greeted by name as i enter, and they will ask about my wife and kids (which they also know by name). Items are priced fairly, to beyond fairly, and you can be sure that if an item has a higher price its absolutely worth it. On top of this there is always some sort of sale going on, and if you happen to need clothing they are hands down the cheapest place to get it.

Doug and Becky are amazing. We hired them to empty our father's house after he passed away. They were more than reasonable in their cost structure to do this very large job and got it done ahead of schedule with no issues. An amazing task as Doug handled most of it by himself.

They were professional, very personable and just what we wanted in a local small business. We are especially happy to see our families things going to others through their thrift store. People who are in need of quality items at very affordable prices. It's also nice to know that they work within their local community and donate many things to charities and groups who are in need.

I've been coming to Double Js for years now. I've followed them from one place to the next! Doug and Becky are both extremely kind, helpful, compassionate, caring, I could keep going on compliments! They do so much hard work not only for their store but also for the community. If you need something, they WILL help you find it! If you have a question, they will answer it! I mean, they even run their store while watching their grandkids! You can't convince me they're any bit of rude, angry, or spiteful people. Trust me, if you're looking for another one of Culpeper's best places to thrift, this is one you gotta stop by! I mean, yes, their store is small. But compared to places they've been before, this is the best! They do their best to showcase everything possible and chances are if it ain't in the store, Doug has it somewhere waiting for you! To be honest, I go here over any of the other thrift stores in town. It's like a glorious treasure box! If you drive by and see their signs out, you better stop by! You miss something everyday you ain't there.

I love this place! You can get anything and everything for a steal all while supporting the super nice owners and a local business! I go with my friend all the time when we are in the area and always walk away with my hands full. My favorite thrift store for sure! 💕

Such a neat thrift store, with the nicest owners. Always a treasure to be found, at unbelievably amazing prices! Becky really takes the time to get to know her customers, such a wonderful thing to see these days. Hard to find that in bigger stores. Shop small businesses, Shop local!

Ventured in here today to do some antiquing and enjoy their "Wacky Wednesday" sale for the week! Found several unique and beautiful pieces to repurpose and just to treasure as is! Double J's has a very homey small-town vibe to it. An antique mall with a little bit of everything! I had the pleasure of meeting Becky and she's very kind and helpful.

This place is fabulous! Whether I am looking for antique furniture or a small trinket; I always find great treasures here. The owners are the nicest hardworking people you will ever meet. If you are looking for a thrift store where you can hunt for treasures; this is your place!!!!

I absolutely love Double J's. They are the most caring and giving family ibhave ecer met. They work hard to make sure their costumers are taking care of even if it means giving things away to people in need. You will not find a nicer, more friendly, caring business. Keep doing what you are doing. You guys are great.

I LOVE this store!!!! Soooo many treasures to be had!!!! Becky and Doug are such caring, hard working, friendly and will go out of their way to help you!!! There is always a "Karen" customer in any business.... unfortunately, hold your head high and continue to be the best thrift store on Culpeper!!!!

The absolute best thrift store you will ever find. New stuff every week, reasonable prices and lots of nooks and crannies to explore. And the owners are the BEST. Take time to look, take time to chat.....

This place is awesome! The owners are so nice! Feel at home every time we go, they accommodate us since we drive a long way. Shopping on line from their Facebook page is hard to resist!!! I really don’t want to talk them up to much because I like the finds I get there, and if they become to well known I might not get my things!😜

Different stuff than your standard thrift store, and the prices are fantastic. They have many useful things in addition to knick-knacks. Very friendly owner.

We have been shopping with Double J's since they first opened. They always have a good selection of items. I appreciate the posting of items on Facebook. The staff has always been polite and helpful.

Woah. Talk about a treasure hunt! New goodies being put out regularly. If you like"the hunt" then this is the place. Stuffed to the gills!
