Food Lion

I love this Food Lion store; I have been a patron for 25+ years. The loyalty of the cashiers and stock people greatly contribute to a personalized shopping experience. When there have been products I longed for, they have researched and whenever possible have been willing to order and carry them. I appreciate that they carry a large selection of both organic and other produce. The staff are friendly and the store is surprisingly clean despite the plantings in the parking lot area, being quite disheveled, and often devoid of life.

Excellent prices ( 20% lower than Harris Teeter) and Excellent customer service 👏

Great stocked shelves. Employees very helpful and kind. Clean store. I like the idea of having a police officer or you may refer to him as a security guard. Wonderful people. I highly recommend this Food Lion on Hillsborough rd. If you are coming from the east to the west, it's just a few miles away from Ninth st. 💯

This is one of my favorite Food Lions. It's never too crowded no matter what time of the day I go. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The establishment is very clean. They stay pretty well stocked given the situation with COVID. I've never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend.

I didn't get the cashier's name. But her number is 0213. In a world of so much negativity, it's hard to find positive and great customer service. Not only was she knowledgeable, quick and efficient, but simply encouraging and kind , and I appreciate her awesome customer service experience she gave me

Last night, I accompanied a great friend to Food Lion. We both needed just one item each but what happened there was worth so very much. We were both greeted by a fantastic employee that I'm sure neither of us had seen in some time. We made our purchases..but the warmth and personal attention was incredible and speeks volumes ..especially for this location ! Thanks Food Lyon and staff. It was like a warm hug in these times of no hugging. Thanks again, billy shepherd

Friendly staff, clean store, no huge flats of inventory blocking aisles like the Sparger Rd. Hillsborough Rd. location. Shelves stocked and you aren't falling over boxes like the other store

The staff is very friendly & helpful. Several smiled at me as they passed me during my shopping. I was looking for an item & a sales associate took more time than I would expect to help me locate it. The cashier did not just put my groceries in bags, he put them in my cart. I like shopping in this store because of the caring staff.

Nice grocery store they have everything I need

I was only here because the neighborhood Kroger is closing but the customer service I received here is truly unmatched. It was pouring rain and the manager carried my groceries out to my car and lended me an umbrella. It's going to take a while for me to get used to the higher prices but the service was amazing. The guy even met a lady at her car with an umbrella, like some fancy valet service. Impressive. Move over Harris Teeter.

I really like this store. It's clean, well lit, and inexpensive. They also have a nice selection of groceries. The cashier's are usually friendly as well. I would recommend this particular branch of Food Lion to anyone.

This is a good, well-stocked, affordable grocery store for the neighborhood. The location is convenient for the locals but otherwise a bit off the beaten path. Staff here are nice, the layout is sensible, and the store has always been clean.

This is my favorite food lion out of all the other Food Lion that are located in Durham that I love and can't wait to go back to a staff so amazing. Miss Deanna, Kat, And can't forget about Ms. Red are the awesomeness😎

My cashier today at this particular Food Lion was professional, courteous, pleasant, friendly and customer service was exceptional; as compared to the Food Lion on Fayetteville Street and Pilot Street which is rated at 1 Star or below! It's well worth traveling the extra distance for outstanding service.

Busy, at times, but the location is very convenient. 2 ways to get in and out; Hillsborough St and W Main St. The team here is always friendly, and items are usually in stock. There can be long lines late in the evening, so plan accordingly.

Great customer service!! Handicap parking and accessible. Restroom availability, and wine choices. Opens early enough to stop in before work, and late enough to stop in after 11:00pm.

This store is clean and well stocked. The parking lot is organized in a way that makes it easy parking.

Apart from Whole Foods, this is my grocery store of choice. Staff is friendly and will help you find anything you're looking for. Personally, I don't feel pressured to go through the self-check out line the way I do at the new grocery store in the area.
