Amazing boot fitting. Ray is a master of boot fitting and even though we tried 5 pairs which were OK the first ones he selected were clearly the right choice. I got an AT boot with custom fitted insoles. I hadn’t bought ski boots in a very long time and he had a lot to explain to me. It was super useful info for someone who loves skiing but doesn’t understand a lot about the gear.

The team also mounted new AT Salomon switch bindings to my old skis, which they had tuned up a week earlier and did a great job.

Today I got to test out the whole setup with some steep tree skiing and a ton of skinning up and everything felt amazing. I’m exhausted but my feet don’t hurt!

The latest pomoca skins they sold me are so much better than old skins I’ve used. They actually do glide in 25 degree weather well.

I think earn your turns type of skiing is my favorite sport other than mountain biking and the people here really had a hand in making it fun.

Great local family-owned ski shop. They have terrific bootfitters who helped us outfit kids growing into racers and of course our own. Wide selection of skis for beginners to experts. We ski a lot and use gear hard; they have always gotten us back out quickly when we needed a repair.

We purchased a pair of volkl demos a couple of years ago from Alpine Options for our daughter. Recently we had an issue with the binding and the AT boot being used popping out. Joe and his team were great to work with to resolve the issue. Super patient and took the time to discuss all the options with us. We swapped the binding out for one more compatible with the boot. Great shop and awesome folks to work with.

A very friendly and knowledgeable staff who take time to understand what your are searching for and NOT just trying to sell you something. I bought two pair of skis there (2022) and will continue to support local businesses that ensure a quality shopping experience based on an individual's needs and desires for the best equipment possible. Highly recommend shopping there.

This Place is definitely one of the best ski shops in the states. Reasonable priced and excellent service. Just tell them your needs; their experienced staff will take care of you and make sure your setup satisfies your expectations. This store is definitely a Highly recommended go-to place.

Randomly came in after delaminating my skis on vacation and these guys were just wonderful. I left with a set that absolutely matched my needs and the price to mount my bindings was beyond reasonable. I'll probably never have the opportunity to do business here again (I live 1000 miles away) but I'm glad this shop was here in my time of need!

Great shop with amazing staff! I dropped my wallet there and they found me within 45 minutes on Facebook to let me know they had it. I was driving back to NJ and going back would have added 2 hours onto the trip (aka a nightmare with having our 2 kids under 3 with us!). They were amazing and shipped the wallet to me with the contents totally undisturbed. They not only have great stuff at great prices, but great customer service as well that they extend beyond just the products being purchased. I will be going again on our next visit!

Brought my skis in for a tune during my trip to sugarbush. I was late for their drop off time to have them ready for the next morning, but they squeezed me in anyways! Very nice staff, reasonable prices, great results. My edge was sharp enough to cut a steak! Will be back.

Nice woman (daughter) was super helpful, nice and accommodating. Yes I came in off season, but would highly recommend. Man, good goggles cost a lot these days. 😉

This family-owned shop has been an institution at Sugarbush for years. The staff's depth of knowledge of both the area and the equipment they sell is why I keep going back. I'm writing this review during the pandemic because they continue to deliver despite supply chain issues, staffing challenges, and a consistent flow of rude customers that do not understand the external factors that everyone is facing. If you visit the mad river valley, this is the shop will do whatever they can to make the most of your trip.

Joe and his staff at Alpine Options are not only the best in the valley, but the best ski shop I've been too. Service is great and the boot fitting is second to none. I highly recommend anyone looking for new boots to start w/ Alpine Options

Every single time I visit Alpine Options I walk away feeling like it's the only ski shop I want to do business with. I've bought multiple pairs of skis and snowboards from this shop over the years and it has the same family feel every time I walk in. Joe is exceptional and even took the time to show me how to do a better job tuning my own skis when I asked a simple question. Great shop and I will continue to do business here for years to come.

Chris L, one of the bootfitters, is professional and smart. I've had the boots he fitted for me for most of this season and I'm enjoying pain-free skiing with more control than I've ever had. I'm a mature, intermediate skier and am so happy to have a comfortable boot that meets my performance needs. Thanks, Chris!

The best ski/snowboard shop, bar none, I have ever worked with. Having skied Sugarbush since 1963, and having been a Contributing Editor to SKI Magazine, I have experience to compare. In terms of service, expertise, inventory, location, friendliness, and knowledge, AO is simply the best. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Boots!
Finally decided it was time for ski boot heaters.
Contacted the shop days earlier, due to COVID and Vermont's stricter than (well... everywhere) policies and the Alpine Options staff stated that a reservation was not needed that week for boot heater installs however, drop off the boots about 3pm and they will be ready the following morning.

I skied the day of boot drop-off at SugarBush, as a final shake-down before a week-long trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
My feet were in a lot of pain at 3pm!

I showed up at Alpine Options and found a staff member sitting guard at the front door. I informed this gentleman of my predicament.
He told me that he was short a boot-fitter that snowy evening. He further informed me that my boot insoles needed to be problem free before installing boot heaters.

This gentleman, Joe, asked another employee to take his place at the door as he jumped into action to fix my boots. Essentially, a boot-fitting session, to address my insoles... without an appointment... during COVID.
I knew better.

Joe made me a new set of custom insoles. Heat formed BootDoc insoles provided the fix inside my custom formed boots, which were purchased a few years earlier at this shop. They replaced an older style of custom foot beds.

Another employee, Chris, started fitting the boot heaters as soon as the insoles were completed.
I've been an infrequent customer at Alpine Options for years. They are my preferred shop at SugarBush and its worth the drive from CT to be fitted for new boots!!

What initially attracted me to the shop? For a while, they were the only shop in Warren on the 'America's Best Bootfitters' (ABB) list.
What's that in the corner of the boot fitting area? A BootDoc, laser foot scanner... which I'm sure to try-out when I need the next pair.

Thank You Joe and Chris!
The two of you went above and beyond that night.

...and Jackson Hole?
The day I arrived, they had received 60-inches of POW over the previous three days.
Do not follow someone else's ski tracks at Jackson Hole in fresh POW. Cliffs are IN and few are marked.
Ski it, if you can, on a whole different level. And explosives, I bet there were 30 avalanche control sets that 1st morning before the Tram allowed skiers.

...and Grand Targhee, via bus from Jackson Hole.
The high-pass was closed. The bus took the long-way around, via Idaho!
Grand Targhee... its like skiing in a snow globe!
Pretty much perfect with POW.
I spent 13-hours in my ski boots that day.
Gentlemen, job well done!
