This place is like the old stores..the ppl there are helpful and respectful..they come up to you and ask if they help find what you're looking for..with their help and knowledge I was able to fix my weed eater by myself and for that reason I will continue to go there .

Al's Handy Hardware on Aldine Mail Rte just east of Airline Dr. is one of the best Ace stores in the Houston area.

The store is well stocked with good merchandise presentation. They have a wide range of products for all the building trades and the home DIYer. There is is a large concrete parking lot.

The store is well staffed with friendly, knowledgeable and helpful associates.

Amazing service. Ordered a hard to find hole saw bit, only place in town that had it in stock. Also picked up a few other needed things too. Nice clean store and neatly organized as well.

This ACE store don’t play with their customers. You are in & out! Every single item we asked Efrain the store associate for, he took us directly to it and even made sure it was what the items we were needing. He was very caring respectful, helpful and friendly. I Highly highly recommend this hardware store and the rest of the associates are just as friendly. If i could give a higher score i definitely would. 100% satisfied.

they help you out when you want or need them, unlike home depot the workers know what they are doing and where is the stuff you looking for.... home depot you ask them and they don't even know what the heck is happening..

I have a house that was built in 1964. So of course plumbing is sometimes very frustrating. I had to buy a new kitchen faucet and of course the supply lines didn't connect to my old stuff. I went in and described my issue, they knew exactly what I needed. I have grown up around here and I always wind up going to them with my house issues. Thank you very much.

I went in today not very positive that they would have what I needed. I was going to go look but was greeted as soon as I walked in the door asking if I needed help. I took their offer and although the shim I needed wasnt something standard, he walked me directly to the location and pulled what I needed out, bagged it and asked if I needed anything else. Was in and out in a couple minutes and it was exactly what I needed. Definately recommend this place.

Al's employees are always helpful, good selection of item's. A little high on some prices,but not as crowded as Home Depot. They have some products that Home Depot doesn't carry.

If there is even a possibility that the store has what I need, I don’t hesitate to visit. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I’m like the big box stores where you have to get really really lucky to speak with someone who understands the products, this store is full of people who will work hard to get you the right help and the right answer.

My helper named Robert was very helpful and courteous. He made my trip very easy and found what I needed. Great people there who are anxious to be of assistance.

Love it here despite that some items are a bit more in cost its a very handy and pleasant place to shop for my tools and materials for my protects and the staff are very helpful, friendly, patient and understanding in what ever one needs

This store has everything for homes built in the 50s to newly built homes. From the smallest items, to the most unexpected. Just ask anyone who works there. They meet you at the door and can walk you straight to the item you need. I'm fortunate to have Al's HH on my neighborhood.

Staff is friendly and ready to help customers 'and if item not in stock they will get it for you...

I've been going here since before I got out of high school and I graduated in 83 I sure like your new place they're always real helpful seem to have whatever you need.

Its ducked off. Almost hiding. Cashier and employees know thier stuff! Aware of new things on market. Bought a bbq pit here they even put it together for me because the one i bought online they didnt have.
