Oleson's Food Store

I really love having an Oleson's close by, its family owned and operated, and they sell local food and products. Somehow they keep their prices competitive with big stores like Meijer, they offer a lot of organic food, though I do wish their organic produce section was bigger. Overall it is my favorite place to shop.

Can always find what we need quickly. Great deli and bakery items.

First of all, let me tell you I was in the grocery business for years. I find it fascinating, I love it.
This store was PHENOMENAL! Every aisle was well stocked, produce was beautiful, bakery makes you want to eat everything in sight, floors are clean, it's well lit and easy to navigate.
The best part???
Their liquor department!!!! Can't wait to bring my out of town visitors for a visit and imbibe in a few. 😉

Love the interior of the store, very much feeing right at home. Layout is very similar to a hardings downstate, with all you could need being right there in the neatly labeled aisles. Price is obviously standard for all normal products, nothing seemed unusually high or even higher then downstate where everything in general was cheaper. Overall i would rate a solid 8/10 for cleanliness and overall neatness. Very solid store choice.

I bought a few lbs of Buffalo. I made a few great tasting burgers. Very lean. Be careful not to over cook.

Clean, Organized Store. Buffalo EVERYWHERE!!! (Yes!).

Local products. Great meats and produce. Fresh, Local and Accommodating selection.

Some say it's more expensive but truthfully it's a rather economical and vested choice (regarding community support and shopping via store specials/community points program).

Great grocery store. Awesome selection of products and helpful friendly staff. Meat department is great! Maple flavored sausage is my favorite.

I love Olesons!!!!! I go there at least 4 times a week. i would really like it if the deli counter was brought back, is that something that will happen in the future.

This is a great small-town grocery store with a wide variety of food and beverages. In addition, there is a drug store located inside to quickly grab allergy meds, suntan lotion, etc.

What a wonderful hometown store. The staff is so professional, kind and helpful. This always makes for a nice trip. The management is amazingly wonderful. We go here several (at least 3 times) times a week if not more. The food at the deli is delicious and they have everything you need. I am sure in another day we will be there again. This is the place to become familiar with 😁. Thank you Olsen's.

Daily hot meal specials are great. Today's meatloaf lookd and smell delicious!

Updated review, per Google's request. 5 stars in 2019 and still 5 stars in 2022. This is a fantastic market, that keeps a solid selection of staples in addition to local goods. Pricier than the big box markets, but also offering a better selection in groceries and quality of perishables and spirits

I like this grocery store the layout makes it easy to find things, they also label the food WIC covers which makes it easy and convenient. The employees are also friendly.

Nice grocery store! Definitely needed in the community for quick pickup items. It has a great deli along with a nice comforting place to eat. It is a touch more for items compared to bigger companies such as Walmart or Costco, but still needed for quick trips without dealing with an overloaded store and crowded parking lot.

Only 5 stars I would give 6 stars. The cleanliness of the store. The nice displays first walking in. Employees are very friendly too. I quit big stores because quality is not to compare. Way to go...

Their butchers are helpful and glad to assist. Their homemade cherry bratwursts are some of the best I have had. Great deli counter with nice assortment of meats, cheeses and salads. Their fried chicken is also remarkably good!

Customer service and convenient! Selection is always great and half of what your getting is always on sale. Plus they have little kiddo shopping carts for little kiddo to push around just like their Mama's and daddies. The Buffalo meat section is great! Try the Buffalo hot dogs! You won't be disappointed and they are worth every penny. Only a dollar a dog and if you went anywhere else for a plain Jane hot dog your talking 2-4$. Why not get better and local. I like it better then Meijer. Just saying!

Service as normal a quick stop , stop in and get the chocolate milk from cream cup dairy it is simply amazing.

Very clean store, as always. Shelves were stocked and neat. Staff were friendly. It is always nice to shop at this Oleson's store.
