I just picked up a pair of boots from this store for an upcoming trip. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and very helpful. I didn't feel pressured into buying anything that I didn't need. The store has such a welcoming atmosphere. As a novice just getting into the sport, I plan on returning to give them more business in the future. I highly recommend taking a trip to this store.

Dan was incredibly patient and helpful with all the questions I had regarding fly tying, the materials, and some general how to - I can't recommend this place enough, and it was well worth the 1.5 hour drive to go there.

I went there for the first time a couple weeks back and was very impressed. Well stocked is an understatement - they have rods on display, more out back I was told and a lot of tying material, waders, packs, reels and accessories. Haven't seen a shop this well stocked since I lived out west. Anyway, both of the gentlemen that I spoke with were low-pressure, easy to talk with and helpful. Will definitely be back and happy to have found the place.

Hands down the best fly shop in NH, the guys are professional and engage in great conversation, extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of fly fishing. They have given me advice to the point of talking me out of a purchase that was well over 400 to put me on a rod that was half that. Most shops would want to get you to buy the most expensive. These guys just want you to do it right! And thats why I will never shop anywhere else for my fly gear.

The best shop there is. Came in having only fly fished once before and they got me set up with everything that I need with quality gear for an amazing price. Super helpful and polite, answered every question I had, and gave me great advice. I will absolutely be back again

This is a family owned Veteran friendly business. I believe that both of the fellows working there are veterans, like myself. These guys are the only game in town, as far as I am concerned. I went there with a friend who purchased a nice fly reel for a custom made rod that he already owned. The service was outstanding and they are fly fishermen supporting fly fishermen, and fly fisher - ladies! These guys are really great guys. They cannot do enough for you. Yes, they are there to sell you something. However, the sell you what you need and do not pressure you. I bought an entry level Orvis package, a book, a pre made fly kit and some supporting items. As far as selection, well it is just fantastic! They have everything you need to go fly fishing. It does not matter, if you are a novice, or an seasoned expert! They have absolutely everything you need, at a competitive price. Check them out and I am sure, you will be pleased that you did! I was!

Love this shop. Visited last year and chatted with the owner and his dog. Excellent assortment of tying materials and tools and fishing equipment.

Classic local fly shop. Biggest selection of hackle and feathers I've ever seen, all you need for tying, tons of local knowledge of streams and patterns, and plenty of flies for purchase.

Awesome store. Super clean, well organized, reasonable prices and an amazing staff. I am a total noob and was my first time buying flies. The staff won't keep bugging you and try to sell you unnecessary stuff. Instead they helped me select flies and basic stuff to get started and gave valuable suggestions to save me some money. I skipped 2 other stores which were closer to me and drove 30 mins just because I read their reviews and I would say it was worth it. I would highly recommend this store and will be my go-to store from now on.

What a shop!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a huge selection of fly tying materials as well as some really cool pre-tied flies. They have EVERYTHING you could possible need to get started with fly tying or fishing! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic shop. We were visiting from out of town and the shop is close to my parents house. We just went in to check it out, and Nate generously took the time to walk us through New Hampshire fishing seasons, and what we might be able to find with the old gear my parents had handy. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about
fishing. We’ll be back on our next trip for sure!

Absolutely a fantastic shop. Great for extremely knowledgeable anglers or a green dumb novice fly fisherman like myself. Nate is awesome to pick his brain and get help from and there’s none of the stuck up fly fishermen attitude that is common at most places. They actually respect Bass fishermen!! Great place

I found this fly shop to be well stocked, and it was easy to find what you needed. There was a vast selection of materials that afforded multiple options. The operators were tremendously helpful, an example was when my question led to a demonstration on a fly tying vise set up in the store. These guys are definitely hands on, and entertain questions at any level you might find yourself. The prices are right and no one is trying to sell you, but they will help you make a good decision. You can't go wrong here, and while shopping online is easy, there is nothing like the experience of messing with stuff in person, and having experienced folks helping you along the way.
