We had Gate City come out to remove 7 trees. They were great to work with, we had reschedule a few times because of weather but they were willing to work with us to find the best date. Got all 7 trees down before 1 PM. They were fast, safe and efficient, cleaned up great as well! The whole crew was great and my boys loved seeing the all the trucks!

Gate City Tree did an amazing job! My insurance company was going to end coverage because of the trees surrounding my house. Removed an overgrown lilac bush. Came to chop the branches down then returned a couple days later to grind the roots and pull them up. Quick and good clean up after!

We had three large fur trees knocked over during a recent wind/rain storm. I called Gate City and Kevin came out same day to give me an estimate, which was several hundred dollars less than some of the other quotes I received. The crew showed up two days later, as promised and finished the entire job within 45 minutes. They were very professional and cleaned everything up really well. I'll be using them in a couple of weeks to remove the stumps that are still there. Would highly recommend them for tree removal work.

I had a tree fall on my fence during a bad Winter storm. I called Gate City Tree and they came out to quote the same day I called. Price was very reasonable and included all equipment needed for the job. Once I accepted the quote, they were at my house in less than 24 hours. The crew was very professional, operated in a very safe and efficient manner and were all very polite and pleasant to talk to. They had the tree removed and the area cleaned (including the pool deck) in 2 hours — leaving it probably cleaner than before the tree fell on it.

Overall, Gate City Tree is very pleasant to work with and reminds me of the days prior when all companies were this professional.

We recently used Gate City Tree Service to remove 6 huge Oak trees from our property. We definitely recommend them to anyone in the area looking to get trees removed! My husband spoke with Kevin who promptly came out to give us a quote. His quote was by far the best price for the work. The crew arrived promptly at 8am to start the job and they were done by 1pm including clean up. The crew worked fast, and did a great job removing all the excess branches from the yard. They will come back to grind our stumps in a few weeks. We couldn’t be more pleased with the work!

Kevin and his crew at Gate City Tree were excellent! Very professional and knowledgeable. They took care of everything and cleaned up well afterwards! My 3 year old was so amazed by all of their trucks, the cranes and the “tree muncher” machine. For the past 2 days, he’s been entertained by everything happening at our house. We needed to get a super tall tree removed that had split during the recent tropical wind storm. I happened to call Gate City Tree first for an estimate. Kevin Fredette, the owner, arrived at our home within 15 minutes of my call! He arranged a crane and was here to do the job within two days...very fast service. His team, working together with Granite State Tree Service, did amazing work. Everyone was professional and friendly and cleaned up the yard before leaving. They will be returning soon to take care of some other trees we'd like removed. We highly recommend Gate City Tree Service.

We just had Gate City Tree out to remove two giant pines from our backyard. When we first called, Kevin came right out to give us a quote. The pricing was super competitive; we got multiple quotes and Kevin's was by far the most reasonable, and the people could not have been nicer. It was clear that Kevin was a professional; he talked us through each step and explained how they would crane the trees over the house- I thought my fence would be a problem but they navigated around it with no issues at all. It was fun to watch them work, this team clearly had a ton of experience- they were extremely efficient. They left everything clean and scheduled a stump removal for the spring. Gate City did a fantastic job removing several large trees from my property. They even identified one on the job that looked problematic (which I hadn't spotted), and removed it for very low additional cost. They were very timely, friendly, and their work was high quality. Can't recommend enough.

Gate City took down six trees. Four were very large pine trees that required a 200 foot Crain. They showed up on time and did a great job removing the trees. The crew did a good job of cleaning up the street after the tree branches were removed and chipped. I am very happy with the quality of their work and would hire them again.

We had an emergency with a storm that snapped one of our pines and crushed a car. The debris closed off the garage and would have meant no one being able to leave for the day.They showed up in record time and did the clean up and noticed that the damaged tree was endangering our neighbors and moved their entire schedule to get the crane over to pull it down. They arrived at 8:00 AM and by noon had not only performed the cleanup, but had removed 4 other massive pines well over 90 feet. They were incredibly professional, polite and did an amazing job. Kevin also gave us an incredibly fair price. We've used them more than once and will use them for anything tree related in the future.

I had several dead Ash trees and a couple of tall red oaks near our house that needed to be cleared. I contacted Gate City for a quote and they were super responsive, friendly, and communicative.

I received a very competitive quote that included an accurate lead time estimate.

When the time came to do the work, Gate City Tree arrived on time, set up very quickly, and did the removal of the 10 very large trees) in a very short amount of time.

Kevin, the owner, who did the original quote, was also present on the job. He and his crew did a super job. They were very efficient, very careful, and very courteous. They also did a great job with clean up after the main work was done.

From the first phone call when I spoke with Kevin I knew I would be pleased with the job. He came out to look at trees a few days later, and he was honest in his opinion and that's what I like.
