Giant Food

I find very good priced and a chicken is fresh

4 years buying here. I love this store. Until last week that the cashier was throwing my stuff on my hands because she was mad about her schedule or wanted to leave I think, this wasn't my fault. Every cashier that helped me before was very friendly and courteous.

Hours are great and easy to get in and out. I have noticed that deli meats cut to order last much longer than the deli meats from other stores. This Giant puts the meats in an excellent storage bag and must sanitize their slicing machines regularly.

Giant is my choice. The giant that I prefer is the redesigned store on East west hwy. There are tons of new choices and more room to move around in while keeping six feet apart.
The store also offers covid vaccine via appointments (no walk in yet)flu shots etc and a host of other remedys
Bottom line the store is clean orderly and managed well. The staff are the best part of the newly refurbished store. They make shopping easy especially when you are having trouble locating items.

Prices were great this weekend.

The Best!!! Soo glad I live right down the street and this is my main store. All the things you want (except beer). I never dred going here!
- easy parking (or bus on Flower)
- clean
- nice staff, management, and customers
- well stocked. Even with organics! Forget Whole Foods!
- easy and fast check out. But the trick is to use self check out. This is fine with me. Others who don't like self check out might have a longer wait for a cashier but certainly not longer than any typical store.
-great pharmacy!!! I get my medicines here and it's super fast and rarely a line.
-late hours!

Every employee that I've interacted with has always been so professional, nice, and helpful. The store really has a "customer first" attitude. I always have a good experience at this Giant.

I've been shopping at this local Giant for over 2 decades. And I've not found a better place to shop. Good quality of food. Hundreds of items on sale every week. The place is clean. And the customer service is also good.

This Arliss location is probably my favorite Giant. The workers are extremely friendly and helpful especially the morning manager. I will continue to shop here until I am no longer in the area.

Found the store to be clean, fully stocked and organized. Got everything I needed and had a quick checkout.

I love this Giant. Not too big and has a great, user-friendly layout and selection of items. Bakery, floral, seafood and meat departments are all great!

I love this store. They may not have the selection some larger stores have, but the staff is absolutely wonderful!

Best Giant in Silver Spring and I have been to every one in the county since I was a baby and this was the one my family and I went to since the time I was born or the Safeway in Four Corners by Santucci's! We may have on occasion gone to the one in downtown Silver Spring on East-West Highway RARELY but that was ONLY if we were too desperate and tired to swing back to Arliss on our way home to University BLVD! That one was as bad then as it is now! Do NOT believe the one person on the Google reviews for that one that claims she does not know what the rest of us are talking about! Take it from someone who has lived here 26 years and would rather pay more to get groceries from Whole Foods or go all the way to DC to a Giant or Safeway before going to that one by Silver Spring metro! Remember, close and convenient is almost always that just accessible and what you trade for access can be a far worse trade in quality and there are somethings you do NOT want to give up on when it comes to quality! Note, I am talking about the quality of the groceries and not the staff which back when I was a kid was excellent and only a few are still there and most of the younger ones and even some of the older ones I agree aren't the best but in terms of product you cannot go wrong with this Giant or the one in Bethesda off Arlington RD near the library and Bradley (Bradlee?) Shopping Center by the car dealership! Want a better one!?! Then head out of county to Hyattsville or Gaithersburg!

It's one of my favorite places I don't go anywhere else but the giant the people there are so friendly and so helpful there like a family

I have been going to this exact Giant since i was little I used to live right across so I would go their atleast 4 times a week

Usually shop near my home at Safeway, but didn't have several items so called Giant and they did. In fact have a much better selection.

Good location for people to shop.
