I love the personal attention. The prices are comparable to Big box sporting goods stores, but you are taken care off. Very running specific, but if thats what you need, this IS the place.

I went yesterday to get new tennis shoes with better support. The employee was extremely helpful! He brought out multiple shoes that would potentially work well for me and had me try them all on. He then had me try on the pairs I liked most again to make sure I would get the one I liked best. Very knowledgeable and great customer service!

I'm currently on a break from running due to injury, but needed new shoes to help with pronation issues that are part of my recovery (first visit to this store). The person who fit me paid attention to my running and discussion about my current needs, tried several pairs that were probably all good for my needs, and helped pick the best.

I'm not going to quote someone else, but the person helping with my injury was pleased with that fitting. They are also a runner, and familiar with how a good running store can really help with a shoe fitting.

This store also has a good reputation for supporting the local running community.

We had an issue with a purchase that was very unusual and the staff there resolved it in the most professional manner I have seen a business do in a long time. Hats off off to Jack there.. great at his job and as a person. We have bought much of our shoes and other items there and highly recommend if your not going here for running shoes etc to take a visit and give em a try. Getting a beer and cider while looking for shoes makes it a perfect experience!!

Visited this store yesterday with my elderly mother. She was looking for a pair of sneakers for daily wear. The gentleman that took care of us was extremely helpful and had the the patience to let her try on several sneakers until she found one that she liked both in color and comfort. Due to time constraints I did not get a pair for myself, however, I’m bringing my whole family there for our next sneaker purchase just because of how welcomed I felt. By the way they have a pretty cool beer selection which I wanted to grab a cold one while shopping but had other things to do. They also have a phenomenal selection of brand names. A+ establishment with A* customer service.

Solid running store with knowledgeable staff…. Certainly no hard selling, to their credit once they recommend to me shoe at the time did not even carry. Prices are sensible as most high end gear is set by the manufacture. They do offer a nice points scheme. Also have a good selection of beers on Tap which some may find odd but from my experience there is one thing the running community like more than running - good beer. However if that is not your thing don’t let it put you off, first and foremost this is a running store…..

The store owners organize weekly run groups at various other local venues, all levels are welcome, if you just want to get off the couch and walk that’s cool…… Also they organize two good size races in Holly Springs (8k or 16k Spring Classic and Holly Springs Half) both events will test your ability well, have great routes and local support.

Within only a few seconds I was greeted and helped by Jake. He was knowledgeable and to the point. Tried on a few pairs for a test run and ended up going with Jake’s initial pick and first instinct.

Won a gift card to Pace Yourself and needed new running shoes (half marathons). I wish I could recall who I worked with but he was fantastic. Open and honest explained characteristics of the shoes on each shelf because they are organized in a specific way. Once i tried on, told me to take a jog down the street to see the 'running' feel of the shoes. Was patient, asked about my running preferences, and really steered me in a direction that made sense for me. When I asked about the color options he brought out all 6 colors for me to pick from instead of explaining 'blue, purple' like other places have. I will be driving out to this store from Raleigh for future running shoes.

Very nice runner's store. I liked my experience here much more than the big box stores. The workers here were patient and seemed genuinely invested in my success as a runner. They let me take my time and answered all my questions. I did not feel pressured or rushed and left confident with my shoe selection. Will definitely come back here for my next running needs. Prices were reasonable and comparable with other stores.

Linda was extremely helpful finding the correct shoe for my needs. Explained the benefits of each shoe type and took the time to try every shoe until I found the perfect one. Will definitely be going back. All the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. It’s a great place!

I am a beginner runner, and the man who helped was really knowledgeable and well versed on the different qualities of each shoe. This was my first time going shopping for running shoes and he made it straightforward and easy!

LOVE LOVE Pace yourself Run Co! Super helpful in finding the perfect shoes (and from varied brands you often don't see in stores). They are even able to order shoes that they don't have in stock and have them ready for you in a few days (+rewards program). Their gear is the best and the staff are always welcoming and make you feel at home. PLUS they have beer! Pace yourself has definitely enhanced the existing running community and made us feel even closer. Highly recommend for a personalized experience and small town feel.

What a great addition to Holly Springs! For a town with such a thriving run community, this definitely fits a need. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. An ever expanding selection of shoes apparel and nutrition means there is always something new to check out. It's even a great place to just hang out with friends after a run, and grab a beer (8-10 different options on tap) and watch some TV while recovering from the run. They have several organized runs throughout the week, and also put on a great set of races throughout the year.

Love my new shoes! I got great personalized service and their foot scanner confirmed my suspicions about what I needed in a shoe.

They were patient and helpful as I tried on different styles and sizes and wandered around the store testing them out.

By far the best experience from a local running store in years! I’m a “new” runner, as in I haven’t intentionally pounded the pavement in a couple decades, but decided it was time to finally get back in it - but for real this time. I’ve been to other run shops in the area and always ran away feeling like I wasn’t elite enough to dare step foot inside again. Naturally, I went in nervous based on experiences at other shops, but left confident and totally at ease. After trying on several different makes and models, I left with a pair that is perfect for me. I even brought my husband in to get fitted later that day! I had no idea running could be like this. Thank you!!!

Sam and Ryan gave great service today! It's been 20 years since I had someone work with me to help me understand what type of shoe I needed based on my circumstances. They evaluated my posture and how I walked before we began the education part of the visit. After trying on several pairs of recommended shoes, I settled finally and am so happy with my purchase!
