I loved my first visit to El Sereno Green Grocer. Wonderful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. It surprised me to find a great selection of unique cheeses, deli meats, and hard salami. I saw fresh baked goods. Plus a lovely piece pistachio and pear cake that came home with me.

Such a welcome addition to our little neighborhood! Erika and Patricia always make you feel right at home, and we love how the store carries groceries and goods you won't really find anywhere else. Greengrocer truly supports the surrounding community by working with all kinds of amazing vendors and I like to drop in a couple times a week to try new snacks and expand my cultural tastebuds! On the weekends, they're a great gathering spot for locals and have coffee and all kinds of pastries. Please give them a try!

Been coming for months now and I'm always blown away by the quality of produce, bread, and pastries! Everythings delicious, locally grown/made, or at least consciously stocked AND they're always working to keep prices low so people get actual real food like theirs.
They stock pastries, veggies, and bread on consistent days of the week so check their schedule on Insta or going in.
If you're like me, you'll come for some of the best tasting produce and stay for the small community vibes (plus the different days with special food guests/pop ups). They totally deserve the 5 stars.

I was visiting the area and stopped by this little shop and was so impressed by how much they packed into their beautiful space. I love that they have so many locally sourced/made items! We grabbed some fruit and veggies for dinner with their $7 produce basket deal (such a steal!). My little ones each picked out a treat - a gluten free/dairy free cookie and a Nutella snack pack. It’s so nice to be able to grab unique local goodies as well as familiar brands. I picked out a locally made pineapple mango salsa and some locally made chips - both were delicious and great value! They also had some prepared meals, frozen foods, locally made desserts, kombucha, eggs, bread, cheese, lots of snack items, spices, and so much more!

The owners were so genuinely friendly and made us feel welcomed. There’s street parking as well as a parking lot in the back. This place is a gem!

They bring in fresh produce from the farmer's marts, have fresh bread delivered on Wednesdays & different baked goods every day. I always discover some new instagram baker because they source from local vendors. I go weekly to pick up a baked treat. They stock an assortment of ethnic sauces/condiments & frozen foods that make getting a meal on the table for the fam on a weeknight a breeze.

Erica, Patricia & all the staff are always so pleasant and welcoming. I always enjoy chatting with them & they make you feel like family. I also love the weekend coffee cart & it's always so nice to see the community come together and hang out in front of the shop.

The Sunday veggie haul here is AMAZING the freshest produce you can get nearby! Staff is so friendly and they have new delicious things to try all the time! A great place to find little goodies when you're bored and want to try something new.

Amazing little community store with lots of healthy and delicious foods. They have ready to eat foods, small batch snacks and fresh produce straight from the farm! The owners are absolutely the sweetest people in town. You have to check it out at least once, I promise you will fall in love.

FABULOUS. The las Palmas frozen burritos are to die for. It’s all I want to eat every day. Also free coffee…. Small business with a heart for the community.

This is an absolutely charming little shop, it honestly feels like a mini farmer's market. Wonderful fresh fruit and veggies, herbs, cheeses, salsas, wraps and burritos, ceviche, milk, breads, drinks, pasta, noodles and a host of other little treasures. The prices are very reasonable, the people who own it are very friendly and professional. Honestly, just skip the bigger farmer's markets and visit them.

Selection does change daily, so I heartily recommend stopping in often to see what new and fresh.

I love this store, I feel so warm and cozy whenever I step into this grocer and the community is so sweet. The food items are amazing and the selection is on point! My favorite Asian condiments are always in stock!

GreenGrocer is a wonderfully welcome addition to the neighborhood! Fresh veggies, local suppliers, dinner inspo, weekend hangs, it’s all there!

It's got that dirty, haven't showered in a month, hippy vibe. Very expensive and would not feel comfortable eating much of anything from here. Much better to go to a whole foods.

EXTREMELY expensive. Everything here is priced even higher than Whole Foods or Erewhon. There’s also no parking. Do not recommend — just go to the Ralph’s around the corner.
