Food City

We shop here for groceries most of the time. Walmart is across the highway from Food City and Food City has nicer people, a cleaner store, comparable prices, and the shelves are stocked better.

Just updating my review above. Had to go in and buy some drinks and a few odd things, today. The manager and everyone's always nice! They've totally remodeled the self-checkouts there and it looks great! They added more self-checkout registers, new registers, and it's designed to get out quicker. The registers all take cash as well as cards, now, tap your card or phone to pay, etc. Go check it out! No pun intended!🙂

I can not say enough about how wonderful the bakery department is. I came in randomly on a Monday at about 1:15 pm. I had an emergency, the order for a friend's wedding cake wasn't done by the bakery that we originally went with.

I walked in and explained to the lady behind the counter. She was able to get me a half sheet cake iced and done in less than 15 minutes! She absolutely saved the day! I went to three bakeries that day and Food City was the only one willing to even try to help me.

Great place and close to home very friendly workers and meats

New to Tn, and to be honest new to going to stores again. Now enjoying my retirement and cooking for the family again and going out seeking the best deals. Well great prices, quality products, and knowledgeable staff. Also very nice even though I think they are a bit short staffed. My choice store in the area.

I will never buy meat from any other store because of Gary, the meat manager. He is so knowledgeable & kind with every customer. He takes the time to explain about different cuts of meat & is always helpful. The store is always clean & employees are always friendly & helpful. A great place to shop!

First time Shopping at any Food City. I was actually impressed by how clean the store was, and the selection.

It's A Grocery store ans a real good one

This is a nice store to shop at. I've been coming here for years. The produce is fresh, good selection of products and I truly believe you will not find a better meat department. They trim my packaged meat for me and repack. The quality and flavor is unbeatable. The cashiers are friendly and the courtesy clerks are always willing to name help me out and put my groceries in my car. This store truly believes in customer service.

As a new Tn. Resident who has been using instacart till i learned my way around a bit, i choose Lenoir City location. Now I ventured to shop for myself, the store was clean and friendly. I got my savings card and shopped, some great deals.

Love Food City and their Pharmacy has good prices

Food city is always clean & smells fresh, employees always has a smile and very friendly, the prepared lunches are great for on the go.

Clean store with a wide selection of products that meet my needs and a friendly staff to boot. My cashier's name was Corbin, and he was the nicest young man I have ever met. His parents must have raised him right. He asked how my day was going and seemed genuinely interested. I really appreciate that kind of honest caring.

I would like to point out, The pharmacy, and pharmacy Workers are the best ever, they make sure my 81 yr old father is always taken care of, and has everything he needs, hands down the best pharmacy we have ever used!!!! Pretty nice store. Friendly staff and good selection. Prices are about in line with other local grocery stores. Slightly higher on some items and Slightly cheaper on others. As with all grocery stores, check the ads first.
BTW, this store opened in 2009 or 10.
