Shoney's - Lenoir City

From the moment we walked into Shoney's Lenoir City this morning we were impressed with the warmth of the employees and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Every employee had a kind smile on their face. Our waitress, Denise was very attentive, very sweet and anticipated our needs. She deserves a gold ⭐!!!
In our 65 years of life we have never seen a Shoney's function at such a high level as this one. There was designated staff tending to the breakfast buffet at all times. They were constantly tidying up the buffet area. They always kept the food fresh and rotated, and they kept food bins full. And they were all helpful, friendly and attentive. We were really blown away by this remarkable group of employees who represent and serve this business. It has been years since we have had this quality of service. We felt at home and welcome. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend a visit to the Lenoir City Shoney's.

My husband and I had David as our server and he was amazing. He made sure we had a great experience and helped us with anything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back to see him soon!

Denise was our server and she was fantastic. She treated our table like family - this is - if you have a happy well adjusted family that you all enjoy. Lol. Also on the way out - your cashier was just the cherry on top. So festive I left the restaurant humming Christmas carols .

Wonderful visit! We were traveling to the Smokies and stopped by for lunch. The salad/soup bar was awesome, plus we ordered sandwiches, rings, fries... we were not disappointed!!! Food was good and fresh, our server was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Don't skip the dreamy chocolate cake or the delicious strawberry pie!!! Their motto should be: Shoney's - a classic favorite filled with your favorite classics!!!

We haven't eaten here since they remodeled, until this evening. It looks great! They did a great job on the looks of the whole interior and the food was great, too. We stopped eating here because the place had gone downhill, looking messy, the food wasn't the greatest, and most of the servers attitudes were bad. So we stopped eating here. We've eaten at this Shoney's since the early 90's, and it was good back then ~~We'll, now everything was good, today. Major improvement! It's definitely worth going to, again. We had the all you can eat food and salad bar and it was all good. Everyone was nice and helpful, too. We'll definitely be back!

This Shoneys staff is incredible! Beyond friendly! We make sure we stop everytime on our many trips from GA to TN. The food is as great as I remember it as a child on travels. Can never go wrong with the breakfast bar! Great job Shoneys!

It was my first time eating at Shoney’s. My BF and I are on vacation traveling from Traverse City, MI. Our waiter Steven was FAST, friendly and very efficient. The manager there was so sweet, too. The salad bar was amazing! Thank you for a great dinner!

Decent food. Meatloaf was good. Good service and smiling faces! Atmosphere is what you woukd expect....

The food was great, i always get the buffett. fresh and delicious. David got our drinks and took care of us the whole time. He was outstanding!

The buffet was good as usual but wished they would switch it up more.dalard bar was excellent.

Fast, friendly service, a fair price, and even quick with seating a very large party. Reasonably institutional fixins that hit the spot!

I swear my wife and I stepped back into 1995 hospitality and prices. Awesome fresh food! Awesome servers! AND IT HAS AN INCLUDED SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM MACHINE THAT IS RUNNING AT BREAKFAST 🥞!

This place has a very nice and well maintained Buffet. It also is very roomy and has a nice Farmhouse atmosphere. The service has been great.

Haven't ate here til they redone it , but went & ate last Saturday , the food was so good, waitress very friendly . Love the new Shoneys !!

We decided to have a piece of Shoney's famous strawberry pie and coffee last evening. Shoney's in Lenoir City has had a new makeover. It is very nice! Our waitress was excellent, and kept our coffee cups full. The pie was fabulous. Go by and check it out!!
