Safeway

I go out of my way to come to this store because of the fresh products. I like easy to cook options after work and they have a whole section of fresh food you can just pop in the microwave. They also have a wing bar that is usually stocked well.

Great staff. Fresh food. Covid safe.Good store. Good hours. Not busy..

Went in today to get some flowers that were advertised on sale, so my son could make his girlfriend a wrist corsage for winter formal. Not being able to find the sale flowers, the nice man who helped us got us set up with something comparable for the same price. Super friendly and a great help. It all worked amazing!

Nice quality, new Safeway. Good quality and selection, and a Starbucks inside. Good customer service. Parking is a bit challenging though.

I like this Safeway better than the Arcata one mostly for the bakery. But the one complaint I do have is the deli employees ignoring people when they walk up to the counter. That is very frustrating standing there waiting for any of them to even acknowledge me. Today there was plenty of staff and they saw me but chose not to say a word. When the lady finally did greet me she took her sweet time. I tried to ask the man that was just walking around if he could grab my daughter a chicken strip and he ignored me.

This store is clean and well staffed. Parking is well lit and there is plenty to go around. I am very glad to have one of these in Eureka as we only have so many places to shop. Being close to home helps as well!

I would like them to stock more nora seaweed snacks. I literally buy ALL of them every week them wait for the next week when I buy ALL of them again.

This Safeway has to compete with the more upscale coops and does a good job. The fruit and veggies offer good selection at a more reasonable price, and the liquor selection is first rate. The Boars Head meats offer good variety. They could do with more grab and go options for drinks and sandwiches, but overall this store is much nicer than SoCal Safeway stores.

I love Safeway, sue me. It's got good quality products for non-outesgeous prices. If we had a trader Joe's in town maybe I'd feel different but for healthy food at reasonable rates I go to Safeway. It's my safe space.

Visited while in town for a dear friend’s wedding. They had everything from Avacados to ice cream, and more. I don’t know if I’ll be back, but I sure hope.

They always have what I need. Some mornings I just go to kill time before heading home. I've had some great conversations with some of the workers. I love how they remember who their costumers are.

I love shopping at this Safeway. It’s a little further away for us, but the variety is nice, the produce section has tons of products to choose from, and a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables. The store is clean, the people are helpful, and friendly. I also love using my Safeway rewards card so I can save money at the gas pump.

7/1/22 Update: Produce workers here are the best. Gave me two bags of old veggies, that were gonna get thrown out, for my rabbit. Thank you!!!

This local Safeway always has the nicest of workers, fully stocked shelves and spectacular deals on meat (most of the time, with the meat). Very happy with it in my little Myrtletown.

Great store! Stocked with very friendly and helpful staff. Public bathrooms that are clean and have t.p also!! Even drinking fountains that work! And the deli selections rock!!!! Right next to purple and green routes on the city bus system too.

Fresh produce, well-stocked shelves, wide variety of products and foods, fresh meats, fish, and seafood dept.

Although it may cost a little more Safeway is well worth it. They have a lot of great sales especially for families such as buy one get one free on crackers buy 2 or 3 get 2 free on 12 packs of soda and many other products. They have one of the largest selections of cheeses in eureka and a very wide variety of keto friendly products as well as organic products in almost every isle. Definitely worth going there. They also have great hours they don't close until 1 am every night so are open for last minute shopping.

I consistently have had a wonderful experience at Eureka Safeway. The staff is friendly and helpful. They always bag my groceries for me and offer help out. The wait in the check out line is never too long, and the produce and meats are fresh and high quality. The store is clean, (including the bathrooms) and well organized. A nice shopping experience overall.

The store is always clean. There is lots of room in isles and around produce, bakery, etc. The staff are kind. We got a cake from the bakery about a year and a half ago that wasn't quite right and they fixed it for us even though it already said the family member's name on it. I love the olive bar. Yum! There is a Starbucks inside this location for those who enjoy that convenience.

Also a good place for getting food ready to go like, salads, fried chicken, sandeiches ans Sushi
