I have finally found it! The best fish and chips in town! Try the fish tacos as well! My husband had them and downed them before I could get a picture! The tacos also have delicious deep fried cod.The atmosphere here is so cute and nostalgic of my old hometown Irish pub. It is small inside but so cozy. Cheese curds were super yummy as well! Amazing food and vibe!

100% can’t miss this spot especially if you are a fan of an Irish pub. Phenomenal food, super nice staff and environment. It was mentioned that new management had been trying some new things and I’d say it’s right on mark! Ordered the 12oz prime rib surf and turf special and it was fantastic. Guaranteed return.

Got some fish and prawns to go..people inside were really friendly. The food was excellent. Not just a plain batter. It had flavor . Fish and shrimp were fresh and cooked to perfection. Some of the best I have had. Even fries were crunchy like prefer them. Would have included a pic but we pretty much inhaled it.!

Ordered Gallagher's last night for the first time. We both got Shepherds Pie Togo. When we went inside to pick up our order (placed it by telephone) the atmosphere was very comfortable. Everyone inside seemed to be in pleasant moods, staff and patrons alike. Had a very "Cheers" type vibe. TV on for those who like that. Cozy. Cute small bar.
Only other Shepherds Pie that I've had has been while in Switzerland, got it from a German restaurant. And holy moly that was to die for. With that being said, this had great flavor. Price is $22 and that seems perfectly understandable to me.

Everything my wife and I have ordered over several
visits to town has been excellent. A little spendy for seniors, but worth it. The Fish & Chips were memorable, as was the Reuben sandwich.

Hands down the best dessert in Humboldt! Perfect way to finish our date night!

“Brown Bag Apple Pie”

Went here for the first time since moving to the area and I must say the Fish and chips with the tartar sauce was the best I’ve had in Eureka. Along with the Guinness beef stew. It’s not a big place but it has a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting great food.

Great new location! The Miss Piggy pizza was one of the better pizzas in town! We happened to be there on a prime rib night and the end cut prime rib was very good. Definitely will be back soon!

I haven’t been to Gallaghers in a while but I won a gift certificate from Mad River Radio and decided to give them a try.. they were super busy but they still managed to impress with amazing food with service to match.. soo much more food to try I will definitely be back

One of the best restaurants in Eureka. I have been there several times and tried different things. My current favorite is of course the cheese curds/sauce and the mushroom pizza. The small one is actually enough for three meals and so delicious. They are not stingy with the mushrooms. It is relatively small inside and can get quite loud when crowded. Quality silverware and cloth napkins, even for lunch.

My go to place for pizza in Eureka. My wife and I have always enjoyed their extra large mushroom, sausage and peperoni pizza. Well, today it being Election Day 2022 I bought two extra large peperoni pizzas for the elections crew. The total was less than $50 for both pizzas. Good times!

From the outside it looks like some dive sports bar, rather plain and unassuming. Then you go inside and it looks much more polished, not swanky or fancy, but a well maintained Irish pub. The counter top for the bar was really neat, and the bar chairs were comfortable. Not a whole lot of bar space but it seemed more a place where people go to dine out.

Had we not already eaten (we were bar hopping after dinner) we would have ordered some food. Looking through the menu we were kicking ourselves for not realizing that this place had quite the menu options. Yes it included staples such as corned beef and bangers and mash, but it also had some really delicious looking fish options, a beautiful ribeye (I saw it being served to one of the tables), and also some great appetizers. We had planned to go in for lunch the next day but we decided to leave for home early instead (we were up for my husband's business trip).

We did order some of the house special cocktails. I forget the drink my husband got, but I ordered the Irish Plumber and it was really good! The bartender was very friendly, informative, and makes great drinks.

Seated at a table (we were there on a Thursday early evening) was a group of older folks who really seemed to be enjoying their dinner. And another table with an older couple as well. I would like to go in and see what it's like on a Friday night.

We are going back on his next business trip to try the food, the prices seemed pretty reasonable by today's standards which is nice.

Great place, tasty food, comfortable atmosphere with a nautical theme. We got there just after 12pm and the place filled up fast with the lunch crowd. I got the scallops and chips with a side salad and my husband got the French dip with Au Jus sauce, everything was fresh and very good. Next time we will save room for the Irish bread pudding

The food here is amazing my Wife and I have had nothing but excellent service and fantastic meals. Trying new dinners on the menu every time we go delicious.

Great place for good foods..pizza..burgers..fish and chips and good drinks! The wait staff was awesome too!!

What a cute little place to take Grandma to lunch, and good-sized portions! My kids loved the fish & chips. Both Grandma and my husband got (& loved) the reuben sandwich. My Shepherd's Pie was very tasty! The calamari was GONE!. Excellent service! Will come back when we come to see Grandma.

The deep fried oysters are pricey and very much worth it, I only got 3 but they were HUGE! Great fried mushrooms too, will definitely be back.
