Staff is personable, helpful, and very nice, they answer your questions about new prescriptions as well as daily products. Much nicer and better service at other Gallatin Walgreens.

The front of store staff is always cheerful and glad to help. The pharmacy staff is knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions. Insurance dictated that I use CVS last year and I'm so glad to be back at Walgreen's especially this store.

This is a pretty standard Walgreens. The store is clean and organized, and it still had that new feel.

I don’t know what happened to this pharmacy. Not only was it taking forever to get a prescription filled, when I called to cancel the prescription and move it to CVS. The man who took the call was extremely rude and very unprofessional.

This is the worst pharmacy. The store staff up front are nice and helpful, but when you need medicine and a prescription filled, it is always a horrible experience. The window people are not knowledgeable and rude at times. They hardly ever have the medicine being filled, and just tell customers it isn't ready yet. This has happened more than once. I have already taken our business to a different place, but I feel this pharmacy needs to be closed permanently until enough good staff can wait on customers and fill Prescriptions competently. They gave my daughter the totally wrong medicine one time and she is a child and it could have been horrible if I hadn't noticed the pills looked different than they were supposed to.

I wish this review would lead to better operating procedures for Walgreens Greenlea Blvd Gallatin, TN… but I’m sure the staff doesn’t care nor will Walgreens corporate do anything to improve patient care short of another class-action lawsuit.

I am so angry at this moment based on the blasé attitude of some of the employees that work there. Perhaps all of my previous Walgreens encounters in my previous city were just splashed with fairy dust and my prescriptions made it to me on time without my having to make three phone calls (10 mins each time) and two visits for a box with a prescription label.

This happens every month.
They make me feel like I’m the one in the wrong for asking the status of the medicine they said would be ready days earlier.

I have two prescriptions that come pre-boxed from the manufacturer that I still get from this location as they are not reliable, helpful, friendly, and the prescriptions go into a black hole once your physician calls it in. I’m on a 28 day prescription for lupus. I usually have to wait until day 32 to get my very simple medication because they don’t order it in time nor do they process the inventory once it arrives. No one cares. Not a single one of the employees care. They talk about patients behind their back and do not do anything to help. They need an overhaul department wide.

DO NOT USE THIS WALGREENS! Trust from a patient that there are better ones out there that won’t be rude and will follow through. This is not the norm for a pharmacy.

Not sure to why when the lady up front will tell you 4 different times she will make sure a nurse returns my phone call I don’t get a response from them starting as soon as they open up… @ 8 am no excuse for this what so ever.. I have a broken hip, and would think my health would be important to them… since this pandemic I feel as if nothing matters anymore to anyone so sad it really is… I would Never allow my patients to run out of there medication knowing that they really need it. The Dr: is awesome don’t get me wrong but the staff needs to improve on Relaying messages…

This pharmacy is obviously understaffed, which is understandable in the current environment. However, they greatly overpromise on how quickly prescriptions will be ready. However long it takes, that is fine, but when we were told that it would be ready in thirty minutes, then thirty minutes later we were told another thirty minutes, then when pressed they said they do not know when it would be ready, then there is a major problem. It appears pharm techs are told just to say “thirty minutes” without any real sense of the time.

When we were finally able to pick up the medication, they said they needed our new insurance information. The problem was that we had given them our new insurance card a couple hours before when the medication was dropped off. They said they did not have the card. I said I would just pay, I just want to go home, they waited another approximately ten minutes, only to say they had found the insurance card. They asked me to wait while they ran it through insurance, even though I had said I just want to pay out of pocket and go home.

When they ran it through, there was another problem on their part. They had input the card holder’s birthday incorrectly and needed to fix something in their system. I begged them just to let me pay for the antibiotics for my daughter and go home. I said, “Please just let me pay, I have been here an hour dealing with your problems, please just let me pay and go home. I don’t care about the insurance, just let me go.”

The tech said she was just trying to help me and I needed to be patient; basically, she was indirectly blaming me for their problems. They finally let me pay and go home. Throughout the ordeal they reminded me numerous times that they were understaffed, as if that were a valid excuse for giving us a wildly inaccurate ready time, losing our insurance cards, inputting our information into their system incorrectly, and not just letting me pay when my patience was spent and I was willing to forgo insurance and just pay cash.

The pharmacy management at this location is atrocious and I recommend going elsewhere.
