This is a great hidden Gem store. Had everything we needed for our project and have some hard to find tools and items here. Highly recommend going here over home Depot or Menards if it's closer especially.

I've been shopping at berlins for years. Sort of the Sam's club of the trades. This place has everything. Highly recommended but do your homework thier prices are a little high

As a woodworker, this place is amazing. I wish I had a bigger budget for the tools I need. They offer everything tool related. They also repair tools. From woodworkers to concrete masons,and everyone in between, they have what you will use in your profession. Great place!

Everything you need for a contractor or carpentry or a DIY kind of person. This place is pricey but the quality of tools and equipment is amazing. And honestly the service was knowledgeable. I know a place where you ask hey is there a tool for doing this . And they go we have this over here. It's awesome. And the store is organized by skill or project if your doing mason work there's mason tools if your doing carpentry there carpentry tools and so on so fourth it was a cool experience.

Every tool under one roof, if they don’t have something they will order it for you.
I left the store very impressed by the knowledge that the gentleman who assisted me had and was sharing. Highly recommend this old fashioned store to anyone in any trade industry.

People complaining about prices sound like spoiled brats. This place has any tool you can think of at varying levels of quality and price. If you can find your tool for cheaper and have time to wait for it, good on you, but this is a one stop shop for whatever you need for the job.

My first time there and they have the better brands of tools than the big box stores. The people complaining about price problaby have no idea what they are looking at and should stay with the cheap big box brands. Will be back soon.

Amongst tool distributors, berlands is superior. With customer service to quality and selection. Hell, don't be afraid to ask the OGs in there ANYTHING. They can answer just about everything. I've been going here for all my finishing tools, have not failed me yet.

They definitely need more locations around the Chicagoland area. Need 1 near the burbs too.

My favorite tools store

The store manager spent a lot of personal time on the phone helping locate parts for a 50 year old band saw .He spent more than an hour discussing with us and with the supplier far beyond the value of the parts. He supplied hood old fashioned personal service. Thank You Berlands Tools

C'mon! It's an adult Toys R Us. If you're looking for specialty or high quality tools this is the place to go. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

They have almost anything you would need to get your job done correctly! Nobody has a better selection of tools and specialty equipment! Love this place
