I had the best experience at Hometown Skates! The owner is a delight and got me exactly where I needed to be within minutes! She provided me with further assistance once my skates came and gave me helpful tips! 10/10 service, will be back again :)

We were just at Hometown Skates and were blown away by so many gorgeous dresses, for every size and program. The dresses were tasteful, unique, and excellent quality, while the hockey equipment was name brand. My child got two figure skating dresses, and a bunch of necessary odds and ends. I trust Alyssa for my child’s skating needs, which has been built through consistent excellence over the past two years, through her online store. She is knowledgeable and honest, with such a love for skating. We will be back when it’s time for new skates. Hometown Skates is worth the drive.

Awesome service, they truly care about people and skating not just money. Stumbled on this store looking for someone that could listen, understand, and solve my skate issue (unlike the big stores like Pure Hockey who just want to get me into the latest model skate). The owners took their time to listen and understand, and attempted to punch my skates, but my issue couldn't be solved that easily. However, they took the extra step to measure my feet and offer suggestions that could help in the near term though. This is the type of local expertise our niche sports need.

Wonderful experience during my first visit to Hometown Skates. I was shopping for dek hockey helmets for my son and myself. Very knowledgeable & friendly owner. They had a wide variety of dek hockey, ice hockey , ice skating equipment. I was able to purchase 2 helmets at a great price. I definitely will go back for future equipment needs. Please give them a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

I brought my son Michael up there which she knows through hockey and she was extremely helpful. I have no clue what I'm doing and they felt like family they treated us well and their prices are great give them a try you won't regret it support your local business.

In December I was fitted for new figure skates. Alyssa is very knowledgable about different skates and what level you are at in skating as to what brand of skate and the type of blade that you will need.

Great customer service. I stopped in one night for a pair of skates to be sharpened, and they stopped what they were doing and got them done in a few minutes. I will be back again soon!
