CVS

This is one of the best pharmacies in Berks county. I always get shots and medications here. They always fill their meds on time. The pharmacist is very nice, supportive, smart and helpful. I have no problem dealing with them.

The pharmacy staff are very helpful and friendly. Prescription orders and refills are processed quickly and efficiently. The store is clean and laid out nicely with a very large selection of items to choose from in various departments, including items from several cosmetics lines that are not found in other drugstores, including some other CVS locations. There are several drugstores closer to home, but I choose to use this particular CVS.

Clean store nice cashier's but some of the pharmacist and techs are rude which I think spoils it for the entire pharmacy, long wait times on the phone so after dealing with them for a few years because it wasn't convenient to get to the Shoemakersville location due to bridge being out, I have now switched back to the Shoey location and I'm very pleased with them.

The one pharm tech is very pleasant however the pharmacists are rude, and dont even try to call the pharmacy , as you will wait an hour or more!

I like CVS , I just feel that they need to be nice to the customers.

I have never been treated so poorly As a customer before in my life. Literally the most unhelpful staff you could imagine when it comes to answering the phone or simple questions. This location consistently messes up my prescriptions, especially my auto refill prescriptions. Your employees need an attitude adjustment. I'm the one spending money and because of how your employees talk to me I will no longer be spending my money with cvs. This place will hang up on you when you need help. The last thing I want to deal with when getting my prescription is attitude. Time to see if my report to corporate gets a follow through. I highly doubt it will.

Update: 2 weeks on and customer service never reached out after promising I'd hear from the district manager. Absolutely disgusting company.

Never had a problem at the Leesport pharmacy until this year. First they made a mistake on a prescription, filled it for 30 tablets when the insurance company requires 90 day supplies on prescriptions. It is not a new prescription, had it for several years. The pharmacist tried to tell us it was the insurance company that would only pay for 30 days. Told her that wasn't true. Then she said she couldn't fix it until the next time because they had already billed the insurance company. My husband told her so he was supposed to pay $30 for a 30 supply instead of $45 for a 90 day supply because they made a mistake. She honestly lied to our faces 3 times before she realized we weren't going to back down and just pay for their error. She finally said she would contact the insurance company to see if the billing could be adjusted. Apparently they fixed it right away and we received a call to pick up the rest of his prescription. Just today exact same thing happened with the same prescription. Now we have to go back tomorrow and pick up the additional 60 tablets he should have received today! And the woman at the drive up window, who was impatient with us when my husband tried to ask a question, happened to be the woman I spoke to over the phone. She was trying to hurry me off of the phone and I said "will you please listen to me." She then got huffy until she checked and realized it was their mistake again! We have to use CVS but are going to switch to another location after all of the lies and rude treatment.

I have been going here for 15 years and I just dealt with the most genuinely insufferable pharmacists I have ever met in my life. As someone who works in customer service I was in shock at the attitude she gave me. I honestly couldn’t tell if she’s just like that with everyone or was like that with me because I was a person of color? Her name was Sarah (same name, ironically) and I will be reporting her to the manager and changing pharmacies. I’ll even email cvs for good measure. I’m the smiliest and nicest person so it was completely one sideded hostility. Maybe she’s going through something? But my gosh, never going back there again. I would’ve lost my job acting like that with anyone.
