This thrift store just opened in early Sept 2023 and j think it should do quite well.

The store is huge - probably the biggest in a large geographic radius. If I had to guess, I'd say it's at least 3 or 4 times bigger than the local goodwill.

They have all the standard sections of clothes, bric-a-brac, home decor, linens, shoes, accessories, seasonal, large changing room section, etc

They also had a small "high end" section that people looking for more expensive items at a discount go straight to.

The place is clean, well organized, and inviting. All of the staff were helpful and friendly.

I found some cool and unique items and paid less than $13 including a local donation I made with the purchase.

Well I wanted a job here so bad. Even before they opened. But I guess they're looking for more experience. Still I wish I could have showed them what I'm worth. Still a good store and should definitely be checked out.

This is the best thrift store in Berks County! They are clean, organized, and have some amazing deals. Their donation center is open 9a-6p Monday-Saturday, and the store is open 9a-9p Monday-Saturday. What sets them apart is that they are a non-profit and they partner and provide funding for local non-profits who assist with homlessness, food insecurity, and basic human needs.

Really nice! Got a nice pair of leggings for $5.99. The toy prices are outrageous but i’ll deff come for the clothing.

Just like any second hand shop these days, you cannot escape inflation- goodwill’s prices went up astronomically due to resellers, and I’m going to assume this store is following the trend of marking up used items prices. I went today on “educational appreciation day” where things are supposedly 50% off if you’re a student. I guess you have to read the fine print because when I checked out, I had to pay full price for very used items, just because they had orange tags and were “new to the floor”… make it make sense. It’s 20 years old but because you just put it out it’s not part of the deal…. Right.

Super clean the clothes don’t have a bad smell and the employees are super nice. They up charge some things though and and the “high end section” was underwhelming

Recently opened store and new to Berks County. I took advantage of the senior discount given on Tuesdays which is a good deal. Community Aid has a wide variety of merchandise for sale, something for everybody. I don't know if they take credit cards because I paid cash for my items. The music in the store was way too loud when I was there. I suffer from headaches thus only three stars were given in this review.

UPDATE: like every good community store, this store has been ruined by resellers as well, today Monday went looking for a dress and saw 3 or 4 people with 2 carts EACH, just grabbing everything that was 1 dollar tag, as an expectant mother with a toddler it sadden me that all the great maternity deals were taken by people that DONT NEED THEM that are faster and more capable just profiting out of peoples donations and kindness. 2 MEN took 2 full carts of 1 dollar WOMEN items, as I bilingual person I also heard them talking about reselling all this. Great concept but sadly the people that abuse it take the better deals from those that really need them.

Great store, better prices than most thrift stores, the cleanest thrift store I’ve ever seen 💛Christian owned ✝💛 my new favorite place to take my donations to 😀
