This is an excellent place to shop. The food is organic and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed yet efficient. It's not difficult to find an industrious employee if and when I need help. They always seem to have a plant that I either haven't seen or have never had.
I enjoy their rocks and crystals and their variety of kitchen accessories and aids. Skagit co-op is where I first found my current brand of facial care with their help. I live south of Arlington, but I'm always delighted to go to Mount Vernon. Because it means I get to go to the co-op

Needed a quick, good, affordable breakfast. I was looking for some soups didn’t have them till 11 but one of the guys behind the food counter suggested the breakfast sandwiches to me he was very helpful and very kind! I got an amazing breakfast sandwich for 4.99, an amazing fresh soft berry and cheese danish for 3.29, and a bag of kettle jalapeño chips for 1.29. Everything was about 10 dollars. Loved it, definitely recommend

Amazing produce here! Any fruit or vegetable you select will be of the best quality. They also have some great breads for sale and a deli that has excellent sandwiches. Lots of gluten free and vegan options on the shelves and in bulk.

Great food. Good vibes. While I was there, a mom spilled her kid’s smoothie all over the floor. They cleaned it up and gave her a whole new one without question. That’s what I am talking about!
The rocket salad (arugula, beet, goat cheese) was amazing. The choose-your-mix juice bar too! I had just come from something heavy and was exhausted. This restored me. Great train stop too.

One of the best selections of meads and ciders I've seen, at the best co-op I've ever been to.

Skagit Valley is of my favorite food co-ops in the north sound. There is so much to explore beyond the grocery staples.
They have an amazing deli-sandwich counter, that does made to order sandwiches.
Very decent wine/cider selection with local and global labels.
Don’t miss out on the wellness section and the upstairs for gift items.

I love this place. If you typically buy cleaner groceries, then I’ve found that the prices at the co-op are very reasonable and typically less than buying them at a Safeway or Haggen’s. Their gourmet cheese selection is great, and we get their house-roasted coffee beans for pour over at home. The bulk spice and tea selection is perfect for using refillable jars in the kitchen.
The pastries are delicious. The raspberry turnovers and croissants are favorites. The espresso from the deli is also absolutely awesome.

My absolute favorite Coop of all of them. I've been a member & shopped here for over 20 years and it just keeps growing and getting better. I've moved away but every time I return I stop here as my only grocery store to get all that I need. Upstairs has so many great finds including things for the home as well as jewelry, clothing & baby. It's a must visit and shop every time!!

This place is so fun! I’m a coop person and really enjoy this one. Great prepared foods, hot and cold bar, espresso, even home made ice cream. The gift section is impressive too. A very well cared for coop.

This is literally my favorite store to go to in downtown mount vernon. Between the amazing food. The great staff, and the environment. I highly recommend the custom made sandwiches and their plant section.

Love the coop. They have great coffee, fresh produce with a nice selection of foraged mushrooms. Also have such a fun gift/home item area upstairs. My only wish is that they would make more vegan options for pastries/deli food options/prepared grab and go items.

A great food coop! Wonderful restaurant and great for take out. And the grocery section has a super selection. In the spring this a great place to buy vegetable starts, too!

Great selection of a wide array of goods, groceries, and even art and gifts from local makers. Their deli, homemade ice cream, and baked goods are wonderful. This is a perfect spot to stop for snacks and lunch especially if you have dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc.) The staff have only ever been kind and courteous to me. Also this store does a FABULOUS job enforcing the WA state mask mandate and I feel very safe shopping here.

Always the go to place to shop before heading back to the big city Seattle. The co-op sourdough bread 🍞 is the best!
The local produce is wonderful and get a coffee & sandwich in the deli. Delicious sandwiches 😑

Love this place. Great food at fair prices. Staff are a mixed bag as with many 'green' and healthy businesses. Some of them are great some act like they are doing you a favor by talking to you or you aren't good enough to be eating their special food. 💕 it tho.

Always a joy shopping here or eating from the Deli. There are so many different types of food to choose from. The prices are fair but can be spendy depending in what you're shopping for. The environment is upbeat and friendly. There is outdoor seating available as well.

Bulk and groceries can be a bit cheaper if you purchase the Foid Co-op membership.

The best co-op in the region and it’s not close! Enjoy the deli, seating, selection, the local made gift shop area upstairs and the community atmosphere.

Its a good thing I live over an hour away from this place, otherwise I'd be dead broke from buying black bottom cupcakes and Popeye's Secret Blend smoothie every day. No joke. One of my favorite places in Mount Vernon to hang out. Fun vibe, yummy smells, delicious food, and a cute little gift shop up stairs. Everyone is so kind. If you find yourself in the area, definitely stop by. And find the black bottom cupcakes!!

This is a spectacular cooperative market. And it appears they are building a new store on another spot nearby (across their parking lot). We found everything we came here for and still enjoyed simply looking around till we had to look for each other!
