I've been coming here for decades and thumbs up! Safe area, fast moving line, small but well stocked store, If only America could be this spot on! The other reviews are just what you expect, always finding some angle to trash-talk, just why people don't see how distorted they think, and how they interpret things in some paranoid manner, overlaying a problem onto reality that just isn't there.

This store is exactly what you expect from a Walgreens. Yeah, prices are expensive. It's convenience; you're paying for it. It's definitely cheaper to go to Target or order items online, but that's their whole shtick.

And looking at some of the other reviews, I feel like some people might need a reminder: the employees are human beings. Don't berate them because of policies that you don't like (and that tend to be outside of their level of control).

Do you genuinely think they should keep the store open late for you to buy cold medicine/snack/shampoo? You really think that your wellbeing is more valuable than the wellbeing of all the employees in the store who have just finished a long shift and have their own lives and responsibilities? Y'all might wanna reflect and find some compassion.

I went there for vaccination. Wow... welcoming and helpful staff. Along with medicines you can buy cold drinks, juices chips etc. It's easy to get vaccine appointment here. Ohh one more thing. You can have $5 shopping coupon from them on the first visit.

Best staff ever. I lost my watch when I did grocery shopping here. The wonderful staffs found it and kept it for me. This is a birthday present from my husband and it means a lot to me. Thank you so much.

Great and Courteous customer service!! Well stocked items and store is clean. Always a pleasure to shop here at my local Walgreens. Madhav is an employee that was attentive to my needs as I browsed the store and helped me exactly when I needed help!!

I always have the Best Experience with everyone there and never had any problems. The Staff and Management treat me as a Human being with Comment Courtesy and Respect too:) :)!

Close to campus, good place to shop for groceries if you don't have enough time to go to Berkeley Bowl, Target, or Safeway

Not sure I agree with many of the reviews for this Walgreens. Yes, prices can be on the higher side compared with places like Safeway and other grocery stores (there's savings through the Walgreens rewards program). But it's location is invaluable - it's less than a minute away from Sproul Hall/Sather Gate. Very convenient when you need a necessity and you can't go all the way to Trader Joe's, for example. I have tried the pharmacy once to get a prescription which I was able to get quite easily. Plus, there's the Tang Center a couple minutes away down the street for pharmaceutical needs. It's located on the busy Telegraph Ave and it can be crowded but customer service is pretty good (they had a temporary checkout line once when it was really crowded).

Has what I needed. Arrived. Found. Paid. Left.
Arrived in the evening for a bottle of sanitizer; was in an unexpected place.

Checkout line is usually a little long but they have a big variety of things if you need to buy something
