Jerusalem Halal Market

Came here to try a halal Philly cheesesteak with my friend who is Muslim about a year ago. It was so delicious that I had to come back again. Honestly, it's the best cheesesteak in the area that I've tried. Pretty cheap place for some food, but the portions are huge! Will totally come again.

Was invited for Iftar by a family during Ramadan and wanted to bring appropriate halal foods. The gentleman greeted me promptly after finishing his prayer and was very helpful and informative. He explained the popular foods and several other customs that I found useful later that evening during the breaking of the fast. All the items I bought at Jerusalem Halal Market were wonderfully received and brought smiles to the children's eyes. Definitely the place to go for great tasting halal food during Ramadan. Thank you!!

I checked out this place on a tip from a coworker and this place immediately shoots to a top 3 Cheesesteak in all of NEPA. He showed me the freezer to see how fresh the meat was and he doesn't add spices besides salt/pepper since the meat is so fresh. It's a huge portion for $6.35. I can't believe it's been open for 15 years and I'm now finally trying it. If you like cheesesteaks then abs put this on your to-do list. They also have a coffee/hukah cafe next door that opens at 4pm. It's located on George Ave, WB.

Great food and great business owner!!! Best Middle Eastern food in the U.S. Catering is also an option. Amazing

Their cheese stake is best in town. But if you have spicy taste buds, ask them to make it spicy for you

Very good food. The lamb was perfect. And their rice is absolutely delicious! The portions are huge too. a $7-9 plate from them will easily feed two people. They also have a wonderful selection of imported grocery items, with very fair prices. The service is fast and friendly. I will definitely be visiting this place again. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

This is one of my favorite spots. Arabic and middle eastern food products. Butcher grocer and food menu. I had always been curious about the place so one day a number of years ago I stopped in. Very friendly warm and welcoming. The owner and staff are so helpful. I buy a number of my food products here. Spices , dried fruits nuts and the list goes on. Chicken shawarma , tabbouli , hummus etc. Great service.

Food is always fresh, super delicious, reasonably priced, and served in large portions. (Be sure to check out the specials he runs on Fridays. The biryani is amazing!) Meat from the deli & other groceries are also consistently good. Very friendly & helpful owner too!

Owner's are extremely cordial and inviting. The market is very clean and well organized. The aromas from the food they serve are amazing and the taste is enticingly delicious. On Friday's they have a buffet and during the week they serve lunch from their menu. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. Certainly worth the money and experiencing the food and conversation.

I love this place the staff is fantastic! THE CHEESESTEAK IS THE BEST!!! In the VALLEY, peppers and onions all the way. This place is blessed and highly favored. Pls, try it! Amazing food, very friendly staff, the owner is so kind ! Best middle Eastern food in Pennsylvania for sure! Great for families too since they have kids menu as well. Don't miss out on this restaurant.

I went there for lunch and had a great meal. The portions are huge and the food was excellent. I had lamb Korma with rice and I think I have enough left for dinner!! The owner is a very nice guy. I hope you try this place. It is a hidden gem.

The falafel and chicken shawarma were very tasty. Yes I'll come back again.

I believe they stock up every Thursday with fresh protein.

The rice with lamb is a superb meal. I have not tried other items on the menu just because of how well the rice with meat tastes.

It's a local shop in walking distance from the Masjid.

We called last minute to order lamb with the rice and they were very nice to accommodate us. Sutkri did a great job! The family loved the food and we highly recommend to everyone!!!

Cozy atmosphere, great quality food, and outstanding customer service! If you love middle eastern food this place is it! It’s also kid friendly!
