I want to give a compliment to Jerrica from the Deli Dept... I placed and order online on 10/9/2023 for the Habanero Mango Baked Chicken for a North High School Pot luck for today 10/11/2023.
This morning I received an email that my Order was cancelled. I immediately called the Deli Dept and was told my order couldnt be fulfilled because of personnel. I told Jerrica this was for North High students. She said she would call me back to see what she could do for us. She went out of her way to get us our order on time ..... Thank you Jerrica, you rock!!!

I came here on 6/04 around 30 minutes before closing.
Being that I'm a single mother and I work really hard, when I'm shopping, I often look for the deals or sales. When I finished at the self-check out and half of those coupons or sales didn't come up, all for various reasons. The point of the background is that the two females working the self-check out, blew my mind. These women are absolutely amazing, they were PATIENT, KIND, and RESPECTFUL. I was in awe at how the young woman was willing to help me find the coupons either in the paper or app while, the other went to check for the marked down items I'd found. I apologized as I was embarrassed because I really only had $16, and I had to feed my child. Unfortunately, I needed those deals or we weren't going to be able to get all our items. Upon apologizing, the young lady said, "oh no, don't! I've been there with my kids, I understand." I didn't cry there, but I did on the way home. They could have told me I did the couponing wrong and that wasn't their problem, but they didn't. They even re-rang up my groceries for me to properly apply the coupons. It's so hard today to go to places and ask for help, often people on both sides are met with negativity. BUT, these two gave me hope, there's still nice people out there that are still being kind.
Those to ladies, deserve RAISES AND PROMOTIONS. As they had that store running smoothly, quietly, and effectively with positive attitudes.

Has everything I need, clean, well stocked neighborhood grocery.

Wow!!!! I have worked in hospitality and guest service for over 20 years now and I’m probably the most critical reviewer you can find. Tonight at Safeway, Madison and the rest of the staff were absolutely phenomenal!!!! I was having issues using several cards for payment and the system just would not process it. Madison jumped right over to assist and not only just assisted, but actually offered to manually enter my payment detail, which, of course was above and beyond what she’s required to do, but that’s exactly what customer service is supposed to be!!! And that team hit it out of the park tonight, and not only with me but I observed their interactions with another guest and they were treated with the same excellence!!! Over time the quality of service from those in the industry, has made such a horrific decline more times than not it seems as though you’re interrupting someone’s personal time to get service that you pay to receive!!! When I’m at work I look at my guests as being the people that pay my bills, because without them, where would I/we be?? So those of you that truly value customer service, it’s worth a trip if you’re not close by to experience the respect, appreciation and all around positive vibe you get when visiting Safeway on 26th and Federal. Madison and the other two team members working with her tonight, THANK YOU for your superior level of service, positivity and for genuinely embracing the art of customer service!!!!!! I don’t think I’ve been in a position to be able to say, in full honesty, I am colossally impressed!!!, in over 10 years!! You guys please keep up that amazing standard of service, and know that even though you probably don’t hear it very often, I’m certain that there’s more people than you’re aware of that really do appreciate how you do, what you do!!!

Very clean and super friendly staff. Had fried chicken from the hot bar and it was delicious.

It was my first time shopping at this store (3/19/22), so I was unfamiliar with locating certain items. When I got to the check out lane, the lady who was in attendance, and was about to run my groceries thru, ask me if I found everything alright. I timidly responded that I could not locate beef bouillon, and she said I'll get it for you, which she did. I didn't want to hold up other people behind me, in line, and felt a little embarrassed that I was doing so. Anyway the lady came back within a minute with the product, and was not condescending
about my lack of knowledge, concerning this store. I did not get the name of the employee, but she went far beyond the call of her responsibilities. A very clean, and modern store. All the produce items appeared very fresh, and all of the employees that I saw, seem to be very cheerful. This was early Saturday afternoon, between 1and 2 PM. I usually shop for groceries at two other stores, but this Safeway will become my main store. My only regret was that I did not get the name of the check out lady. This store I very highly recommend! 6 stars of 5!

The pharmacy here is amazing. The staff are so nice and you don't have to wait long to have your prescription filled. Switched from walgreens to Safeway and its been well worth it!

Safeway is my go to for groceries and prescriptions. This location is by far my favorite. The staff is always ready to help and assist you. And the pharmacy staff are (although shorthanded) very helpful and welcoming. They are wonderful to deal with.

The clerks were very accommodating when a digital coupon wasn't being applied automatically. They fixed it and I got a fantastic deal! I LOVE their extreme deals, I got a dozen eggs, breakfast sausage, cranberry cocktail juice and 6 fresh bakery bagels for $5! They have deals like that weekly! Thanks for the savings!

I wanted to give a big thanks to Michelle (I believe is her name) - she was at register 1 today and very nicely let me go take photos of the sale stickers for certain thing since they weren't ringing up correctly

She went above and beyond - thanks Michelle!

Another woman saw me wandering and looking around, then asked ME if i needed help. Which i did - I really appreciated it.

I usually hate grocery shopping but today it sucked a little less.

I grew up here in Jefferson Park neighborhood. Clean store and employees are awesome. Best customer service.

A little hard to find but it's the last room of the first floor! Such a fantastic experience so laid back compared to most every other shop. Such a friendly and clean environment, will definitely be coming back!

This Safeway store is great in that they have most everything you could need. It's also popular, so there could be a line. They do have a lot of self-serve stations though, so it goes fast. And, they have a Starbucks inside

Great produce, meat, and seafood. I really like the variety of cheese near the deli. Sometimes parking is an issue and the service desk usually isn't staffed so prepare to wait. Checkout is always quick no matter how busy it is.

My little brother is in Heaven over the premium ice cream I got . 4 flavors for the price of one regularly! Awesome!

There floor staff was all very loving an welcoming for me an my husband. And management handled our registered service animal very well. Over all my experience was closely resembled to a warm inviting neighborhood grocery store

This was my first time going to Safeway, and honestly it was one of the best shopping experiences I ever had. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially that one girl who was working on the 3rd register. I think her name was Pilar or something like that. She was awesome. You bet you'll see me more often.
