It was such a happy store and a great selection of new books and gifts!

This is my kind of shop! Great selection of books for kids if all ages. And such an inviting shop to sit down and read in. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

The coziest little book shop located in brick city. I can tell so much heart went into creating this space.

We found so many fun books here! We were delighted to find today’s popular authors for our kiddo as well as beautiful copies of books from our childhoods.

This is a well curated shop for kids’ books and games. This person knows their stuff and knows what’s good. I will be back the next time I need a gift and want to shop local!

What a great collection of quality picture books, games, and creative gifts for children. The owner of the shop is a teacher who has spent years reviewing and rating the best books, and he happened to be there when we visited. You’ll find classic titles and new releases, and Christmas books are on the shelves now. Our holiday shopping is finished in one stop!

Little did I know that when I walked into Dad Suggests Bookstore I would find myself curled up in a cozy corner there reading Shaun Tan’s gorgeous graphic novels, including a stunner called The Arrival. The store itself is a dream for anybody who loves books; books are thoughtfully organized into sections like “love” and “empathy” and there are little blurbs to help browsers choose that perfect book. But go see for yourself

This is such a thoughtful children’s bookstore filled with a wide array of books for every occasion. Love their reviews of books and great games! If I were a librarian I would spend lots of time here. Ryan has in depth knowledge of all these amazing books!

What a treasure- tucked in the back corner, we felt like we were in a cozy yet posh library. Time stood still for us in this fairy land of a curated bookstore. Our family of four lingered over pages and pages of beautiful words and art. We can’t wait to go back and look through the book collection longer. It was hard for us to leave without our hands full of books. A happy memory was made today and we look forward to returning to make more.

Dad Suggests is a wonderful store in BrickCity in Fayetteville! All kinds of beautiful children’s books and family games and a magical reading nook complete with tepee! You will be charmed!

Everything about this store is cute and cozy. Great selection of games you wouldn't find in other stores, and Dad was excellent at suggesting items for my kids. We love it and will visit next time we are in town.
