This one doesn't have such long lines as the others

I don't have any issues with the store. I would have gave it 5 stars, but I'm only giving it 3 because I think it's wrong that the Northside of town has 2 dollar generals that stay open til 11pm.(& that's the "ghetto" of fort smith)
But the Southside of town, all of the dollar generals either close at 9pm or 10pm.
It would be nice to have just 1 dollar general to stay open til 11pm.
But that's just my opinion. Besides that this store is great. Always clean. Friendly employees. Good location.

It's a ok store

I like the people who work there and hate to say this, but majority, I'm done. I am so tired of seeing one price over and over again and being charged another. I know how disrespectful customers can be messing things up but it's not getting fixed and I get over charged alot. I hate saying it cause again, the workers are cool. But I can't afford being over charged like this.

Disrespectful employee!! I went to the restroom as my husband stood in front of the door, because there was NO lock! She stood there the entire time watching us like we were trying to steal something!? When I said something, she was rude and snapped an attitude. Not everyone that comes in is trying to steal. I understand keeping an eye out but the way this woman did it was degrading and insensitive. We won't be returning to this dollar general!!! Oh she then proceeded to tell her co-worker to tell her and laugh about it in front of other people!! Immature ignorance

I had ordered a few things online and went to pick it up around 5. Well when I went inside I had to the cashier that I had an online order and was there to pick it up. So she didn’t say anything to me and walked off to tell the other girl that was working on the floor about my order. It took them about 10 minutes to even get back up in front of the store. One of the girls told me that your order is in that basket and she didn’t have the time to bag it yet. I had noticed that I didn’t have all my order and I had asked her about it and she told me that they where out of everything and waiting on a truck. So I told her that is fine that I will go back and look for the items that I was missing and see if I can get something else. I did I went to the counter and checked out the items that they didn’t have. Also when I went to shop for the items that was missing the girl had told me that she would have my items sacked. She didn’t touch my items I had to sack my items myself and I also had to check the items they didn’t have on self at self check out cause they where in a circle talking and gossiping. The worse experience I have had on a online order from dollar general. Sorry but won’t go back. It really seems like the manager needs to hire some adults that want to work. The young girls seem like they didn’t want to work nor be there.

Always out of stock. I got over charged on a purchased and went back into the store to discuss it. The cashier had an attitude and said some smart mouthed and derogatory things. Very unprofessional. When I took the issue to the manager they were the same. The assistant manager refused to give my money back and finally took the issue to the manager who was also rude finally told the employees to give me my money back and make me leave the store.

Business etiquette is extremely lacking at this location. I've never walked into any establishment and staff be on their cell phone on speaker having a conversation with their boyfriend.

Overcharge...false advertising....coca cola on sale 3 for $4 ringing up 2.20 each ..told to talk to manager the next day so I drive up there and manager isnt in ..still ringing up 2.20 I wonder how many people was overcharged!!
