KARM Stores

The people that work at this store have always been so kind and helpful. The clothes are never ripped, torn, dirty-smelling. I don't love that KARM keeps raising the prices, sometimes charging more than what you would pay in a retail store at full price! I know that's not the fault of the people that work here, though.

I wanted to add that I used to absolutely love going in here and the other store in Blount County to find wonderful bargains on my very limited budget. That's not even possible anymore, so I rarely go in.

It's mind-boggling that upper management at KARM does not understand the very concept of a thrift store.

I LOVE the New "Kids Karm" as this store is now called, the store next to Krogers in Alcoa. I love how they made the Karm into nothing but childrens stuff. What a great idea people! I like how the set up is. And the staff is always friendly.

KARM was a fantastic experience.
The men and women there were extremely friendly and helpful for everything I needed.
Very clean store, items weren't just scattered around. More organized than other similar shops. Prices are ok but I found something I thought was a bit more than I wanted to spend and asked if they could take a few dollars off and she did, without blinking an eye 👁. Thank you ladies for your careful wrapping of my delicate items. They made it home safe and sound.

Clean atmosphere and great variety of household items, clothing and accessories. Just wish I could have bought this awesome couch, no way to travel with it 🙄

In reference to posts about high pricing, I used to feel the same until I learned more. KARM donates a massive amount of these proceeds from their thrift stores! When you donate, they will ask you if you want to reference a church. These churches receive KARM gift cards that are then given to the needy! Not only that, they also help with so many missions!

So yes, they are pricier than most thrift stores, BUT if you do decide to shop there you can be assured that your purchase is partially a donation to the needy. If it is too pricey for your budget then obviously use other thrift stores, but I have seen with my own eyes the benefits of the mission work KARM does. If you are need and you need help, ask a local church if they can provide you with some KARM cards from time to time.

Love this location and that it's kid items centered. Pretty clean and organized for a thrift store.

I am surprised at a different review but there was nothing said so it should be ignored. I have had many good experiences at this store. Staff has been friendly and very helpful with answering questions, helping with unloading car, etc. Access is easy also.

The only complaint is that the prices are still to high for people that are on disability or low income. I believe that things should be priced a lot cheaper ... especially for things like furniture or kitchen supplies. Other than that..it's a great place ..

I love to shop here. I've bought dishes, sewing machines, and furniture. Love the prices and the hours. Staff is also very helpful. This is a good service!

Very good thrift shop. Knowledgeable staff and never a wait to check out. Usually have a good selection also... Everything from knick knacks to electronics.

Such a great place and wonderful people that are doing God's work and the prices are very reasonable I highly recommend this place!!

They are amazing from their displays, to the people who work there and they give in Jesus name to those in need.

One of the good stores that receives decent product from distribution. Always walk out with something good and reasonable.
