I actually was there to buy frozen fish.They can also help you prep and fry your fish.

We love to go here for lots of reasons but especially to get pork belly. All the people are nice

First time there everyone was nice. It's a quaint little place.
I love the fact that you can find a lot of different things there.
I enjoyed looking around and making my few purchases.
I went looking for Miso and ended up finding Soursop leaves as well which e was thinking I would have to order online. Saved me a ton of money instead.

There is no denying that I adore seafood. In order to get some salmon and other seafood, my friend and I traveled to the MY HOA FOOD market. I took a detour inside the building to check out other areas while our fresh fish was being prepared for us at the back. I was astounded to discover a variety of food items on display on tastefully designed shelves, just like at a supermarket. I'll remark that the cost of fresh seafood is reasonable. Get there right away and bring home some seafood.

They have everything you could ever want, endless sauces, snacks, affordable vegetables, buns, the list goes on. It’s always fun to look around at all the products that they have to offer and the staff is very quick and pleasant. Great neighborhood market.

great place with huge variety of available products. I go there mostly for the live fish and asian products like the small (thai) banana. good service too!

This is a first class store. Let me xplain. When you go down ever isles here it a culinary experience. Also an educational experience. This store has great foods frozen or live seafood fresh also. There must be hundreds of fish spices liquid and dry. Oh did I say seafood. This is one store that the meat dept ducks behind the seafood team. Meat is great but seafood at this store makes it King. This operation is so good on quality side you stand in awe. There are other stores like this one sure but this store is so special. All kinds of yams and various produce. Now their Romain was weak rust spots
Green leaft was high quality. I am very particularly sharp on produce depth my life in supply chain has taught me to look closely. Over all this is one fine store. They have a pot and pan or wok dept beyond all you expect. Great supply. Yes the sell beer.

Better price on Salmon then Hong Kong market

Fried fish with option hot spyce the best. When you fry fish at home you have bad odor for a long time. I make my salad and rice and get the fish fried from this place ,I like the tea section you can find anything you want

I finally found the cuttlefish jerky that I have been looking for. I also found other assorted seafood jerky. I tried the grouper too and it tasted great! The cuttlefish jerky was amazing. I have had any since I was a kid. It took me back to summer camp at YMCA , when an Asian kid shared some with me. The prices on the jerky was very affordable to my surprise.I walked around a bit and saw that there was a nice selection of teas as well. A gentleman helped me pick out a few that were reasonably priced. I noticed that you guys also have a great fresh seafood section and that y'all also sell freshly roasted duck. I will be back for the duck.My overall experience was great thanks to helpful staff.

I do like this Asian grocery store. I used to live right behind it for a year or so.
Being that it is Vietnamese, they have several things that the other Asian supermarkets on Bellaire do not have.
Vietnamese people and people from New Orleans share many of the same tastes, due to our shared history of French colonialism.
For example, they have more varieties of coffee and chicory at this store, with rock bottom prices, than you will find anywhere outside of southern Louisiana. They also have amazing french bread, that I know is baked fresh daily, but I'm not sure that they bake it there.
You can go to the fish market in the back, select the fish you want, and they will clean it and fry it for you, right then and there, for minimal added cost.
They always have a huge variety of top notch produce, and their prices on most things are quite reasonable.
I do find it hard to communicate with many of the people who work there. But they are always very kind, even though I'm usually the only white/Jewish guy in the store, (my girlfriend is Filipino).
It is definitely worth checking out, for anyone who is not a close minded yokel.

Been going here since I was 10 and now I am 25, very comfortable and quiet shopping place.

Love the Indo Mi noodles! And the ginger candy is so cheap!
