Fantastic place for second hand shopping. Found a sturdy, worn pair of boots to costume a character for a film project. $22. Perfect. I have purchased a few pieces here for my own wardrobe before. The selection is trendy and clean. In general the store is clean. The other customers are polite and are happy to shop together. Clothes are reasonably priced. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. I appreciate how picky they are with the clothes they accept. The selectivity of the purchasing staff saves me time I would normally spend sifting through dated styles and poor quality fabrics.

Don't recommend selling branded clothes here. Take good clothes to a real consignment shop, you'll get way more money.

Walked from home today to check it out for the first time since moving to Nob Hill. Was very happy with all of my purchases! The store in laid out well, the employees are very helpful but don't linger, which I like lol I gotta focus when I'm seriously shopping. I found a Late Spade leather wallet, barely used, for $13. The tags were still inside and it retails for almost $160! Love this place and will definitely hit it up anytime I want to treat myself to cute clothes 🥰

Always cool stuff here and inventory is rotated frequently. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Only sold here a couple times and had some success. Not sure why so many reviewers have complaints. Their business is reselling clothing, so they will give you $5 dollars for a top and sell it for $15. If you want to keep the money yourself, then sell it without a middleman like BE.

From what I heard, this is one of the oldest locations, and it was one of the nicest I've visited. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and conversational. Bravo!

May not be the place for sellers, hence the bad reviews, but for buyers? This place has hands down brought me countless amazing outfits, so it’d be a crime not to give them 5 stars. People that work here are friendly, and have cool vibes.

I don't understand the bad reviews. They are upfront about their buying procedures. If you want maximum $ return on your items, use Ebay, Poshmark, etc. Buffalo is a great way to quickly clear the closet, however. and fun to browse.

I just dropped by the store to see what I could get for some clothing I had not used at all or enough to keep. My experience was great. The store offers 30% of what they can sell the items for if you want cash. Overall it was easy and they accepted almost everything I brought in from stores like Lucky Brand, Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, and Marshall’s. I even got some cash for some heels I brought in. Definitely recommend you go by and see what you can get for your closet clean out items. You can donate whatever they do not take and they give it to charities :)

Really cool store if you are looking for higher end thrift store. Bought a Swiss Army Backpack that was almost new for $20. Glad they have weathered COVID storm that has closed so many smaller businesses.

Okay let's see here what can I say about Buffalo exchange. I think it's great yeah I am a big fan of the place big fan and that's saying something, because when it comes to clothes and my OCD of absolutely having to have the right type of clothes the right choice of clothes when I go someplace to shop because how I look and present myself as one of the most important things to me because first impression is the one thing you never get a second chance at Buffalo exchange never lets me down. Go there the choices are awesome the ladies at work there are super super awesome.

Still a fun place to shop, they did change how they buy your stuff, no waiting around, it's a drop off service that'll take a day or two. And unfortunately as of 9/6/2020 they are not doing cash; only PayPal or store credit. Back entrance is closed off do if your planning to get your steps in that day you can park in the front.

My boyfriend and I were preparing for an 80's party and we wanted legit looking clothes; we went to buffalo exchange and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They led Tyler and I through the entire store searching for super cool 80's clothing. Yes, the prices are slightly higher than a thrift, but it's because the clothes are better quality (not bashing thrift stores - I love them). We truly had an awesome experience at buffalo exchange, and would recommend anyone who is looking for unique clothing to stop by.

I had a really great time shopping and selling here! I traded some clothing in and also purchased some items. The entire experience was very positive. So, I guess I'll start with what I liked best..
1. I come from a long background in working with the public so customer service is the biggest thing I notice when i do a first time visit somewhere. If that's bad I don't usually go back. Here I will definitely be back and recommend to friends! These ladies were top notch!! Super friendly and personable. Genuine and everyone was super chic with great personal style :) Gave me more than I was expecting and took almost all of my items!! Yay more $ to shop. Which brings me to...
2. Really great on trend and nice condition clothing and accessories. Prices were low and I LOVE what I bought. I only wish I would have picked up those cool 1980s original Vision Street Wear hi-tops for 15 bucks grrrr
3. The store has a super hip yet organized feel to it, well laid out and easy to find stuff. It has huge windows and feels super clean light and airy. Not at all cramped or stuffy even though it was pretty busy thr whole time I was there.
Highly recommend the Albuquerque Buffalo Exchange- new fave!

Best store in the entire chain, hands down! Perfectly captures the New Mexico vibe and often has superb vintage gems.

Let me first say that if you don't want your clothes, what makes you think Buffalo wants to buy them? Most people have bad style in my opinion anyways. I sell clothes every few months and I've always had a good experience. But I sell them quality, stylish clothing. There's always a few pieces they don't take so I either donate those or wait till next visit to try again. You have to sell what's in style and consider the season. The staff is friendly and helpful, so I don't understand the bad reviews.

Love to shop here. They have near new and new fashions along with accessories. Reasonable prices and if you have such items that you don't need and they are in good condition you can get cash and in store credit. It's a win, win for all parties.

Pricier than Savers but you get more current and stylish clothing for much less than department stores. Nice salespersons, and I always go there to look for the more expensive things like leather and wool winter stuff. I also like that your purchase can contribute to good causes in town -- good job Buffalo Exchange!

A little more of the pricey side of thrifting but you really don't have to sort through anything gross or trashy. Love! The people who work there are cool & they don't use ANY bags!! ❤♻🌍

I found amazing authentic silver and turquoise jewelry at fantastic prices! The staff was attentive and helpful. If I lived here it would be a frequent stop.
