I went by this place several times and decided to go there with my wife and kid for brunch. It's a medium-small establishment but it's really convenient. The inside of the place reminds me of the 70/80s with the juke boxes & how the place looks. The waiters and employees there are polite people who want to ensure they have your order right, that everything is okay, & that you're having a great time there.

The food that I ordered was Egg & Cheese Burritos, Green Chili Cheeseburger + Fries, & Cheeseburger with Mozzarella Sticks. Surprisingly, the Burritos were large with extra toppings on it. I enjoyed how well put together it was. The Green Chili Cheeseburger & fries were gnarly as well. The toasted buns really put a kick to how nice it is to chew on it along with how nice, golden, & crispy the fries were. Me and my family are satisfied with how it all turned out from entering Owl Cafe to the last moments before leaving it.

It's also super kid friendly and would recommend going here for a nice nostalgic day with your family & kids.

This is a "roadside attraction" diner. The cheeseburger was great and came with green chilies and the french fries were very hot. The chocolate shake was the best we have had in 50 years ! Tableside juke box works and you still get two songs for a quarter. Service was excellent.

Upon entering this home feel cafe, I was greeted and seated right away. Being this was my first time they took the time explain their specialties and kicked me a quarter to play jukebox. I could've just had the chocolate, cherry brownie shake and called it day! So delish! The beans with green chilies was just enough spicy until my Windy City burger came out. Note for next time, beans with green chilies and a tortilla. Pacing is key. Sit and enjoy the music of our parents. The wait staff even sang together and let me join. Now to go walk off all this great food. Thanks Mary 💕

I love the whole diner experience. The food is amazing and the employees are so awesome!! My favorite thing is the jukebox. I love oldies and I really wish I was born in the 50's and 60's, Just kidding, but I recommend it that everyone should try it at least once. It's an awesome place with amazing food and friendly workers.

I LOVE this place. Definitely going back the next time I visit Albuquerque! My husband and I had the green chile burger (husband had the double) and shared the onion loaf with my friends. Also had a peanut butter shake. Our friends ordered tacos and a club sandwich. They had the chocolate peanut butter shake. We bought t-shirts too, and chatted a little with the owner about the Breaking Bad filming at this location. And to top it all off, we sat in the same booth Jesse and Walter were in. 🙂

Went in with a group of 8, were immediately accommodated. Lovely cool old diner style interior. The exterior was eye catchingly cool. The plates were large and very good. We had several different things and our kids loved the cheese curds, spaghetti and everything else they ordered. Husband had enchiladas, I ordered The Aloha. Both were excellent.

For breakfast, I had the Rustic Corned Beef Hash with red potatoes, spicy green chili with an overeasy egg on top. I was impressed. The flavors were right on and tasted fresh and savory. The only thing that I have to say is the tortilla wasn't warmed. Other than that , the meal was excellent!

Super friendly and fun staff. Such a classic old-style dinner with a great menu.
We had a breakfast burrito (so good) french toast (yummy) and a classic simple eggs and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly. The only negative was the blob of lipstick on my coffee cup.
Wonderful atmosphere that I'm sure has seen a few good stories over the years.
Definitely coming back!

Fantastic friendly table service and large portions of food that was well worth the trip and price. I’m so glad our family ate our dinner here. Even though we showed up just before the closed, they were welcoming and served us like we were supposed to be there right then. This was a fun time that tasted great!

Step back a few decades into a classic diner. I've been in my share of diners. This one remains authentic. They sell shirts, but other than that, you'd be forgiven for thinking you stepped into 1977.

Even if you are just swinging in here for Breaking Bad, yes there is a photo, stay for the food and quality service.

They even have hot beef if you are so inclined.

Absolutely love the Owl and we have been coming here since they opened in Albuquerque. Previously, we would visit the one in San Antonio. It's a great place to take visitors and introduce them to the green chili cheeseburger. I also love the green chili milkshake! And the senior breakfast specials can't be beat.

We had the patty melt with green chilies and a taco chicken salad. Both were delicious. The taco salad was loaded with chicken. So good.

It was a great experience! The service was wonderful and they even gave a free sample of green chile beans.. the green Chile's were awesome! I ordered a green Chile and cheese hot dog with a side of fries. So delicious.. the hot dog became a little soggy so I had to use a fork and knife.. but all in all a great lunch! I will have to come back!

IDK how I've never eaten at Owl Cafe until now!I ordered the Green Chile Cheeseburger w/ bacon, avocado, and extra onions! Onion rings, ranch, and a mayo-based dip that I wasn't too fond of; everything else was SOO DELICIOUS 🤤

What a neat place. The atmosphere is a diner vibe from the 50s. So much fun going through the jukebox music.

The food came out hot and fresh. Of course, my wife and I had to have the famous green chile burgers, but we stated with the fried mushrooms. This is the way they should be done. Big, crispy with ranch, yummy! The burgers were good and messy with just the right kick from the chile.

Our server was super nice even though we came in not too long before closing. She gave us just the right amount of attention. She made our appetizer, and our food came out at the correct times, yet it was still very hot!

Overall, it was a great experience at a price of only around $5 a person (before tip ) more than going to McDonald's. Highly recommend.

LOVED the atmosphere, service, and food. Very fun and laid back. I got the pork adovada with a local beer, and my husband got a burger and milkshake. Everything great (plus the food came faster than expected) and plenty food to bring home for another meal. The shake takes times, which is fine because its practically dessert. Btw the toffee coffee milkshake was SO freaking tasty.

I love eating here, specifically when I am looking for a "diner" type lunch or dinner. The food is consistent, and the staff are almost always nice and friendly. They used to always have lemon bars, but I haven't seen them in a while.

I asked a local where to go for a good burger; they recommended here for the green chili burger. Not only was the burger on point, but the price was phenomenal! The free sample of beans they gave was delicious too. The atmosphere is that of a classic 50’s diner, and it was just a great experience from the start.

Great diner to grab food at. The servers barely let you take a sip of coffee before they were refilling your cup! Great service
