Always clean and organized. Good choice of products. Love the clothing!! Pam at check-out is our favorite, she's been there for years and is always polite and nice.
Prices can be a tad high, but it's one of just a couple of places around Elko to get such items. I have never had an issue getting customer service when shopping. People definitely seem to be willing and able to assist!!

I just talked to miss Pam on the phone. I was looking for a certain item and I called to see if it was in stock. Pam was incredibly helpful, and although the item is not currently in the store she was able to advise me where I can find it locally immediately. That is above and beyond customer service, and I look forward to interacting with her in the store when I come in person for other items

I love the unique items. The help is friendly. They have an item of the monrh at a special price. Gifts, clothing, shoes, camping, toys, games, live chicks what's more to love! Just a very fun store!

I love this place, I hope they get one in Reno/Sparks some day. Better hardware stash than any big box hardware store-by far! Let the lady shop for clothing that's actually in stock, stylish, & FITS, while u ogle the boomsticks...heaven

Cal ranch is the greatest store for ranch and out doors I’ve been in for elko at least. I usually do all my gun shopping as they are usually always stocked with ammo and have a wide selection of guns to browse around at. 5 stars.

Best cashier ever! She made sure we were taken care of and that our salted nuts were bagged just right! Give them all a raise

I work basically in cold weather conditions. They have everything to make you comfortable in freezing weather from warm thermal socks to wool caps to keep your ears and face safe from the elements. Great stuff!

Great store! The employee's are friendly and fun. They have always went above and beyond for me.

Large open new store, huge variety, very friendly associates.

Only complaint was that I was looking for horse stall wood pellet bedding and it was only stored in back and they had to move a bunch of other stuff to get me the bags I needed. Many people are now using pelleted wood bedding for cat litter and it would be helpful if they kept a few bags with the cat supplies.

UPDATE!: They now have a fully functioning website with ability to search and research product and pricing, order and pay online (CCs, and Paypal). You can also view the weekly circular ad. I have upgraded my stars from 4 to 5 to reward the addition of a far more useful website.

PART OF OLD REVIEW NO LONGER RELEVANT: I wish they had the ability to order what I needed on the website and to pick it up. Internet shopping option -- research into pricing, availability and purchasing is non existent. This is unacceptable in 2020.

This store has anything you'll need to be out in any type of weather.. just the prices. Boot's if they don't have your size they can order it ,with no extra charge if it doesn't fit you don't pay for it . They make it right. But they've the almost all sizes. Twice in the last few years have the good folk at Elko's CAL Ranch gone out of their way with terrific customer service to help me out. I don't live in Elko but frequently pass through town and wait to do my CAL Ranch shopping when I'm in Elko. Special shout out to Tammy and Carol for going the extra mile in helping me with a technical receipt issue a few weeks ago that was partly due to my stupidity. Thank you both for your understanding and excellent customer service!

Great selection of workwear, camping, and all around outdoorsie stuff. Also tools and hardware including a selection of nuts and bolts that I feel are hard to find at the "hardware stores." Great boot selection. Great gun selection in you're into that. Also saddlery!Theres much more, but It's just a great all around western store. Prices seem a little high but I shop here all the time because they have the stuff.

A great place for any sportsman. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be shopping here on a regular basis.

CAL Ranch is a mix of hardware/western and work clothing/outdoors. It's hard to describe exactly what kind of store they are but they are great! I find tools and parts and pants and ammo and chain saws and toys and candy at CAL Ranch so it makes it one of my favorite stores.

Love this store! I’m from out of town and I wish we had one of these in NE Wyoming. They would be very successful there.

The employees are friendly and helpful. I asked an employee about a product and he brought me right to them. The cashier was very friendly and sweet. Thank you for making me feel important!

Audited 6 of their stores in 2 states. It's a Walmart for Ranchers. But cleaner with better products and employees.

This is a great chain of stores from snacks to feed for animals to clothing and tools.
They have good prices and friendly staff.
