Coffee Mug

Came in twice on a weekend visit from Vegas, first for coffee and pie, then the following day for breakfast. While the cherry pie was satisfactory, the breakfasts were totally bomb 😋. I liked how all the booths had power outlets. At the breakfast we had a party of 11 on a Sunday morning, and though crowded, they were able to seat us pretty quickly. Our motley breakfast party consisted of friends both local and from the western part of the state. Everybody loved the food, and splitting the check was not problematic. The service was very welcoming, attentive, yet not obtrusive. Highlights included house-made chicken-fried steak and eggs, house ground round steak and eggs, and house-made corned beef hash and eggs. Everything was IMHO under-priced for the value😃👍. This will def be my go to spot for breakfast upon future visits to town.

Yummy food. Very good service. Try the breakfast. I had Shirley's Special. Chicken fried steak smothered in gravy 2 eggs any style country potatoes biscuits and gravy. Not a bad bite in the bunch.

Service was polite welcoming and friendly. Please go especially if you love good home cooking.

Stopped by for a quick dinner while traveling through, and loved the place. The wife ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich, which honestly we didn't care for. But it was excellent quality ingredients and a really interesting idea. Large menu, good service, nice atmosphere. We got a slice of cake to share with the family and it was super yummy. I definitely will stop by again when we're traveling through next.

Quick service and definitely on my list as one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had. Their coffee is great too.

Two visits in two days. We ordered from the Lunch Items: Husband ordered Hot Turkey Sandwich and I ordered Nevada Hard Hat which, if you like a beef and green (Anaheim I believe) chili combination, is a great choice. Second time Husband ordered Grilled Patty Melt and I ordered Hot Turkey Sandwich as I didn't want spicy at the later mealtime. There are so many choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is dependably good food especially off the Lunch Items section, and there is a good amount of it. Great coffee. Busy during the second visit, but they are accustomed to taking orders quickly and serving the meals quickly, with experienced servers who also check back from time to time ask how the meal is and to refill drinks. At least two other parties of older adults were sharing meals. Husband had a third time here with coffee and pie that he enjoyed. Prices are reasonable, not cheap, but the other customers always seem to arrive anticipating good food and good service and to leave happy and full, as we do. And conveniently on the other side of the large parking lot is the Western Folklife Center, the G Three Bar Theater, Coffee Joe, etc. (and Rodeway Inn a few more blocks away).

Great atmosphere. The price and selections are outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive. I would give this place a try.

Stopped by here on the way home as most of the recommended places were closed on a Sunday afternoon in Elko. The reviews recommended the chicken fried steak and the skillet and that's what we ordered. Both were delicious and good sized portions.

Needed to escape the world and ended up in Elko for a couple days. Happened upon this little coffee shop and restaurant. Simple soup, fresh greens and veggies in the house salad, fresh coffee. The waitress - Noemi - was so sweet and pleasant and really on top of everything. Felt comfortable and not crowded. Food was fresh, good and prices were really reasonable. Great lil spot if you are looking for something simple but tasty.

Good service. We had breakfast, we order eggs with chorizo, eggs with ham and eggs with steak. Food is ok and the breakfast comes with potatoes or hash browns and toast or 3 pancakes. The pancakes are small but overall is a good restaurant.

Great local diner. Great food, good prices, and the gravy on the biscuits was really tasty. The waitress was attentive and very responsive to our needs.

We enjoy coming here for breakfast. The service is wonderful and the food comes out quick. They have a lot of food varieties to choose from. The food and serving sizes are good as well.

I made a special stop in Elko to come here again while passing Elko on I-80. My wife and I enjoyed it immensely earlier this year, so I decided it was worth driving a couple hours before breakfast to come here again. Very glad I did. I can't really put my finger on why I like it so much, but the food is excellent, the prices reasonable, the service friendly, coffee excellent, and it's just an excellent breakfast to fuel up for a day of driving. Plenty of food that no further meals were required until dinner too.

Mys of and my brother had the steak and it was cooked just the way we ordered and had a overall good taste it could have used just a little more simple seasoning maybe a little salt and pepper it didn't need a whole lot of other seasoning as it had a wonderful flavor just missing a small rash of the simple things. All in all te service was pretty good with the exception of one point after our food had been brought out we were having a difficult time getting anyone's attention to ask for condiments.

The staff is amazing. They make you feel at home from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave.
The restaurant is very clean.
I went to dinner there my second night in town and the food was so good I went back for breakfast the next morning.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you ever go to Elko or even just driving through.

Got the prime rib and New York steak -- super yummy and big portions. Service was friendly and super fast. Truly a great place I've found in Elko and will come back again whenever I'm in the area. Seems like they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day long too. The pies look so homey and good too.

Still such a great value. Great stop for a big meal during a road trip.

Good chili and chicken 🐔 noodle soup. The coffee ☕ and Peach 🍑 pie 🥧 were excellent. Steven is very attentive. Nice people, nice town 👍

Fast service. Good all american resturant. Kids servings just the right size. Bypassed the free breakfast at the hotel to eat here a 2nd time.
