This is my goto stop heading west on I40 for Jelly Bellys!
Tons of truck parking and easy to get in and out.
I have been watching the upgrades to the property for several years. Added a new set of gas pumps and convenience store. It's a slow process, but it looks great!
The hand made fudge selections are good, and the Jelly Belly selection is fantastic!

Holy cow!! What is this place? Cline’s Corner is a hodgepodge of everything from convenience store, to souvenir shop. I took my family to this place, and it was a great experience. We bought several things including knives and Bigfoot slippers. All in all, I would recommend that if you are looking for a break from the road while traveling, stop here, it’s pretty cool.

p.s. The restrooms are HUGE!

I have no idea what these people with bad reviews are talking about. This is the perfect place to stop on a road trip! There is a great selection of New Mexico trinkets and even some nice home decor at reasonable prices. The bathrooms are clean, and there is a lot of space to park large vehicles. I wouldn't pass this place up if I were you.

An old fashioned truck and travel stop along I-40, Old Route 66, with lots of charm and good treats. I stopped in around 1 AM, and the clerk was a pleasant fella to speak with.
Plenty of parking if you're pulling a trailer, and it's easy to fuel up.

Actually, this is my mom, Gayle Bannister, writing this review. Hello! It was the dead of winter and shortly after my mom passed away. My sister and I had to rent U-Hauls to get her stuff back from Nebraska to California because we were selling her house. I was on the I-40, almost dusk and didn't stop in Santa Rosa for gas, because I knew we'd be in Cline's Corners soon. But then something happened. It started to snow, very light at first. But it didn't stop. Soon, I could not see more then 10 feet in front of me, following a car very close behind, I could only see tail lights. Finally after an hour or more, in the snow storm, dark and unable to see, the car in front of me was turning. I followed and finally we were at Cline's Corners. Everyone was rushing inside, all of us caught in the storm. It was the last stop. Well, it got worse. Truckers from all over were coming in. Soon, the restaurant and gift shop were packed with stranded travelers. It was so bad the parking lot was full. Cline"s announced that they would let everyone stay. We all found a place to sit, on the floor, in the corner, under the tables, etc. They kept the restaurant open. At about 3 am I woke to the snow plows. I had found an empty table and had rested my head on it. The kids got their sleeping bags and slept under the table. Everywhere one could see there were people sleeping, all over the floors, the tables, etc. Finally, around 6 am I got up, grabbed the kids and headed down the hill to Albuquerque. The snow plows had cleared the roads. I was so thankful for Cline's Corners for what they did. I never got to personally thank them. But I am now!! Thank you for allowing all of us to stay in that blizzard. I'll never forget that. Gayle Bannister

When I think of Clines Corners, I think of Gayle Bannister and her story of blizzards and full parking lots.
We were driving home from Albuquerque, and with a chill in the air it seemed like time to share my pilgrimage with the family.
We took our breakfast in the restaurant, the site of Gayle’s fitful sleep under the table until snow plows cleared the way at 3:00am. I looked and imagined instead of undercooked or rubbery eggs, that the tables held children huddled in sleeping bags. As I sipped on watery coffee I thought of Gayle and her U-haul.
In the restroom I like to imagine that the strewn about used paper towels are the packed snow brought in on the shoes of weary travelers. I waited as the family returned with stories of stalls covered in blood and filth. I still to this day wonder if Gayle just held it.
Before leaving I always stop to look around the gift shop. I wonder Gayle might have very well looked at the same New Mexico themed plastic tiny spoon for $3.95 or held a 100% cotton graphic t-shirt of a wolf on the mountainside, two for $20.
As we pulled away nearly getting clipped by other motorists clamoring in to get a chance to touch history, I waved goodbye to Clines Corners and Gayle Bannister.

I've been coming here for over 30 years. I never pass by Clines Corners, 1 because I usually need gas, but 2. because you never know what your going to find in the shop full or random items.

Recent visits have been full of Roswell & Breaking Bad items. Gas prices can be a bit high here, but there is no gas for a while in almost every direction. The location offers a wide assortment of gifts and knick knacks, (mugs, shirts, magnets, spoons, thimbles, indian art and jewelry, fireworks, candy) and much more.

Its a great place to stop and grab some Route 66 souvenirs or just browse the store and stretch your legs.

In the past I stopped here to buy Carrizozo cherry cider. On this most recent visit the separate gas station building was gone and the gas registers moved into the main building. I was unable to find any cider at the gas station.

If your passing by, stop in and take a look, its one of those places that has been around for decades and even though is just a store is a piece of Americana that any well established road tripper has visited at least a few times.

Easy off and easy on in both directions from I-40. Restrooms have been clean and there are plenty of things to look at and/or buy. Restaurant, Subway, Grocery Store, Gasoline and much more.

I'm not big on travel centers, but I wish I had known about this one earlier in the trip. I managed to knock out most of my souvenir shopping in this one location. The stores and bathrooms were clean, and the service was friendly.

The people here knew I was stranded, and let me sleep in the back hallway last night to avoid the frigid cold. There Native arts and jewelry are amazing. Thank you all for being so kind!

This rest stop has a huge store with souvenirs of every type.

It had an especially good selection of authentic signed navajo pottery, much more so than any of the trading posts we visited.
